I could make the argument that your better off being D2 this year as opposed to D3. I was thinking the same thing. I saw Lex play Colonel Crawford and they would match up very well with Huron. Also the fact that Western Reserve had already beaten Huron. And no disrespect to Huron, Ottawa Glandorf was the best team that Lexington played this year.

Btw, the state being in Dayton and Fri-Sun is straight 🗑 I believe it has to be that way because of the NCAA First Four games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Btw, the state being in Dayton and Fri-Sun is straight 🗑 Dayton Arena is better than the Schott, so I'm excited about that. And I can either take off Thursday/Friday from work or Friday/Monday, it's 2 days either way. What's your complaint?

Kids aren't dreaming about playing at the Schott either, it's just not a great place for basketball when there are only 7,000 in the arena.

OG will end up in Dayton i believe.. they have everything!! Western game came down to a possession .. and they made it happen.. I know one thing we have to do better thursday is foul shooting.. life couldve been so much more simple on saturday ... i was about 6 or 7 years old the last time huron and lexington played , and that too was at districts. it was a 49-48 game in the district final at ashland.. The days of the ole Johnny Appleseed Confernece...

I’m guessing this is the first time Huron and Memorial have ever met up in basketball? Or any sport for that matter?

Or any sport for that matter? that would be correct.. its kind of a unique area .. you have a big beautiful lake, at the NE end is Memorial, on the NW end is Celina, on the SE end is Coldwater, St Henry, and on the SW end is New Bremen and south is Marion Local (Maria Stein OH). They obviously are surrounded by small school powerhouses.

Of Course St Marys is not the size of Lake Erie, but I have had fun on both. this could be a fun game to watch. One team relies on their 3 point shooting and good man defense, while the other plays zone defense and has great size and length inside.

Though not quite as large as Sandusky Bay, Grand Lake St. Mary's is a marvel since it was dug by hand. It was once the largest man-made lake in the world and is still the largest one dug without power equipment.

When she opened her purse I noticed she had a small gun in it. I had to ask, "Mam, why do you have a gun in your purse?" Matter-of-factly she responded, "I live in Dayton."

Why not St. John’s arena? With the smaller crowds now that would be perfect. In the day of smaller crowds you don’t need to have it the biggest arenas or when the state title games were played in the shoe for football.

Huron wins. Still not impressed. Will see what they do at BG. Lex bigs put the ball on the floor way too much which allowed the smaller Huron players to rip the steal. Why Lex didn’t continue to pound it inside boggles my mind. Conference, Sectional, and District Championships are not impressive ?

Lex is still a year away with this group. If they can find a 3 point shooter to help spread the floor. They might be a tough out next year. Plus there is an incoming freshman that may be pretty good. As far as Huron goes they have a nice team and had a good year. St. Mary's played very good team defense. The big guy is decent but doesn't seem very offensive minded. I thought Huron actually did a pretty good job on him.

A Joey Brunk, by the time he's a Junior? one more year of high school...two years of college grooming before you see him on the floor for minutes...
