I know Fostoria isn't apart of the SBC, but they're close by. The Redmen will be installing turf starting on June 6th. Fostoria used to host some major playoff games before OHSAA went to turf for neutral site games. Perhaps Fostoria will be in the running again?
As far as I understand, the bathrooms and locker rooms will also be upgraded during this new phase. Big parking lot with a lot of seating? I could see Fostoria getting some playoff games now.

Fostoria would be a fine host site. Good call on renovating the restrooms.

What about new speakers for locker room? Heard they liked to crank up the music during their heyday

Fostoria would be a fine host site. Good call on renovating the restrooms. I might have jumped the gun on this a bit. Renovations with the turf will definitely include the locker rooms and end zone seating. I'm not 100% sure about the bathrooms (although they should!).

In this article that includes quotes from the superintendent, he mentions restrooms and locker rooms will be "refurbished":

Fostoria would be a fine host site. Good call on renovating the restrooms. I remember being there once for that playoff game between Kenton & Huron. Only 2 Porta Pottys on the packed visiting side, People Peeing under stands. Lotsa cars got broke into that night, I think some buses too.

The last time I was in Fostoria's stadium I can think of a lot of things needing to have money thrown at them but the grass was not one of them. I will admit it has been a few years though so they may have had yearly improvements.

I've been waiting for years, for Findlay to move the visitor side, light posts to behind the stands. I've cussed those things out so many times. I think they're installing 25 second clocks at both endzones, as well as new L.E.D. field lighting. The name REDMEN is conspicuously missing in the endzone markings, is quite telling.

Forget “Redmen” in the end zone, I want highlights with “FOSTORIA” there so there’s no doubt where the game is being played. Put that cool “F” that forms a face in the middle of the field

Put that cool “F” that forms a face in the middle of the field This is how I felt about Whitney Field in Norwalk, shared by Norwalk and St. Paul. They put Truckers and Flyers in the endzones, and although it looks nice I would have rather seen Norwalk and St. Paul in the endzones.

Don Paul is a really nice facility, but remember parking and walking those blocks from Ross HS, for so many years. What's unique about their home side stands is they incorporated a nicely designed elevator for handicapped and other uses.

I think Fostoria should go with a colored field; think red turf with black sideline and yard markers highlighted in white, similar to Eastern Washington University's Roos Field. Click on the pic for a better view.

I tend to agree. That would establish it's own, unique identity.

Would look even better if they Fostoria would include their nickname in it, The Redmen. Just having it Fostoria Fostoria is very lame.
