Some will say the downfall started with York's missed PAT. But, it took a Buckeye. Man, did Ward get toast

I take back everything I said. The browns just proved that even a mathematical improbability doesn’t stand in the way of losing a game. 99%-1% were their chances of winning after going up 30-17 and they found a way to stain that franchise once again as a joke of the NFL.
You heard it here first, their next 10 games they will go 1-9.

Luckily, After this embarrassing loss, All of the AFC North lost today, Browns, Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers. So, the Browns are still tied for 1st place.

Some will say the downfall started with York's missed PAT. The downfall started with Hunt's idiocy. He went out of bounds twice on the last drive, and if he had stayed in bounds on either one of them the Browns win. The 2nd one was by far the worst. 2nd and 6 and NYJ 24. Ball being snapped with 2:09 left. No timeouts left for NYJ. First down in bounds wins the game, because after the 2 minute warning you take 3 knees. He voluntarily goes out of bounds at the 12 yard line with 2:02 left. 2:02 left. 2 freaking seconds away from victory. Now we we need to keep running plays instead of knees, because another first down is needed to fully run out the clock. We give the ball to Chubb. He could have taken a knee inside the 2 yard line to secure the game, but it's kind of hard to fault him for scoring. But that score extends the game, keeps the Jets alive, and gives the rest of the team a chance to blow it, which they did.

Btw, Woods needs to be fired. You don’t see teams blow assignments weekly in the NfL

Could've been worse, We could still be stuck with Baker Mayfield. He was 14/29 passing today 145 yards, 1 td. 7 dump off passes, his favorite pass to throw. I do realize Brissett is not much better. I would rather see Dobbs in there instead of Brissett.

Quite obvious that secondary is, at best, confused over Woods defensive schemes. Gotta remember who you're dealing with apparently and not get complicated because some of these guys look lost

What an Epic collapse. You can blame a variety of things but the main blame has to be on Joe woods and the secondary. That's two weeks in a row now this defensive secondary has blown coverages and allowed a team back in it or cost the game. It really sucks because that's a game you need to win and Brissett couldn't have played much better he was 22/27 229yds with a 1TD and an INT at the end of the game. He was extremely efficient and effective and they still lost the game.

To me, what Hunt did doesn't hold that much relevance. And the stat showing Browns having >99.9 chance to win took what I posted and your claim into consideration

List of all the things that went wrong for this team to blow this 13 point lead with 1:50 to go
1. Hunt runs out of bounds twice on last drive 2. Chubb scores instead of not scoring and ending the game 3. Missed XP by York 4. Blown Coverage which leads to a TD on the first play of Jets drive after Chubbs TD 5. Allowed successful onside kick for the Jets 6. Allow them to go 50 yards with 1:20 on the clock to win the game
Just a horrible collapse. I was born in 97 so I only really know 2000 Browns and on and I have seen a lot of ways to lose by the Browns but I think this was the worst loss I've seen from them given the circumstances. The Jets literally had no timeouts in the final 1:50 down 13.

The defense is 100% to blame. Think of it this way
Imagine the Browns were up 6 with 2:00 left and choose to kick a FG to go up 2 scores. Browns make the FG to go up 9 with 1:55 left. Losing up 2 scores with under 2:00 left in a game is always 100% the defenses fault. How do you play 58 minutes and give up 17 points, then in the final 2 minutes give up 14. The Browns defense is not mentally tough.

The last time a NFL team blew a 2 touchdown lead with under 2 minutes to go in the game was 2001. Guess who blew that lead in 2001? Yep, the Browns.

that's ok. They are rich, and likely partied it up last night. It's the Joe Schmoe who wears their fanhood to the grave that takes a beating

If this was Brady and his teams, I could slightly understand
Flacco and the pucking Jets?

Miles Garrett is lucky he isn't dead or has already killed someone. Seven speeding tickets clocked at between 100 MPH and 120 MPH! AND those are just the times when he's been caught. I thought he was a reformed individual.

Watching the Browns is like watching the Special Olympics. We're there to Support them, And cheer them on, But don't know what to expect from them, They are very unpredictable. Yet, We still like them.

Browns should EASILY be 4-0 right now, with the rest of the division sitting at 2-2. A collection of good talent, but not a good team. Also, there is alot of mediocrity in the NFL right now.
