DG will make his return tonight against Boston.

Cavs just beat the defending Eastern Conference champs twice within a weeks span. This team if healthy and the more they continue to grow and gel together can only get better. It’s going to be an extremely fun year for basketball in Cleveland.

Garland and Mitchel combined for 18 assists and only 1 turnover!

Another impressive part about this game is that the Cavs bench in Love, Wade, and Osman did not shoot well at all and the Cavs still found a way to win. The bench is usually better than it showed last night.

Wade shot well enough the night before to help set an NBA record
Just saw where Wade is making over 55% of his 3-pointers, best on the Cavs and 5th in the eastern conference.

No DG no Mitchell and Cavs win by 24. Love and Jarrett Allen with great games and Mobley with a stellar defensive performance he had 8 blocks.

AND their defense held DET under 90. Levert plays PG better than small forward.
I don't have an issue with Levert, as some on here do. He's a solid 5th option.

Make that 8 in a row! The backcourt of DG and Mitchell led the way. The Cavs beat a Lebron led team for the first time since 2011. Lebron was 17-1 against the Cavs he is now 17-2.

Cavs defense held Bron and Lakers to just 36 in the 2nd half

Am I falling into the early season success too much? I really think this team could make a finals run. The east is a bunch of good teams no great teams. The Cavs have a 4 core of players that you could argue is better than anyone else's 4 in the East with DG, Mitchell, Mobley, and Allen. The team plays great D and is fairly deep. I don't think it's out of the realm.

The win streak ends at 8. The Cavs fumbled that one late with a lot of mental errors . Also, I thought it was strange that JB was running only a 8 man rotation tonight on a second night of a back to back. It’s a 82 game season it’s a marathon not a sprint. I would have liked to see him play more of the bench.

I think every player, coach and the front office wanted to see the streak continue. NOW they can relax a little

The Cavs are 6-0 when Garland doesn’t play and 2-4 when he does play. Just sayin.
3 game losing streak all to teams that were under .500. We got spoiled to start the season.

They just accumulated DG and Mitchell together. It takes time to gel and Garland only played 10 minutes the first game. No need for overreactions in November. It’s a 82 game season. This young team and Garland will be just fine.

Also, Cavs are 8-4 trying to figure things out that work best such as rotations and DG and Spida two guards trying to feel each other out. Better to be 8-4 figuring these things out than to be 4-8 trying to figure it out.

DG has also been under the weather the last 3 games. Not an excuse but true. As a player he pretty much had to go or it sets up a bad look but he clearly wasn't himself. That and it will take a little time to work out this back court. Glad to have this 1st western trip out of the way. Hate those trips.

I actually thought they were going to win the game when Levert hit the 3 and got fouled, got the flagrant call and then we also made a basket when they got the ball back. Thought that momentum was going to carry them to the win.

I just read an interesting stat. In the 3 losses this week, from the 3 minute mark of the 4th quarter to the end of the game, the Cavs have been out scored 43-15.

Here's an overreaction-Evan Mobley has regressed offensively from last year. Did he even practice mid range or 3 pointers in the offseason? Possibly we should have traded him and kept Markkanen. I hope I'm wrong.

With Allen out Cavs were overmatched down low they had Lamar Stevens guarding Karl Anthony Towns. Missed Mitchell obviously as well. However, it was nice to see DG get his groove back with 51 points and 10 threes. Hopefully they get some guys back for the Bucks Wednesday.

Ok I’m now officially worried about this team . They look lost . Their defense which was their staple is gone. And they just don’t look good

Maybe they’re just not a good team?
You know who would be nice to have right now? Lauri Markkanen.

The Cavs are moving Levert to a 6th man role tonight. I think this is a good idea. 3 ball-dominant guards in the starting lineup isn't good for spacing. The starting 5 will be DG, Mitchell, Stevens, Mobley and Allen. I'd imagine when Wade is back from his injury he would take Stevens's spot. That's what I think would work best.

Well.. they won. But it never should have gone to overtime. Fell apart at the end of the 4th. Way too many turnovers.

Turned it off with 55 seconds left and a 10-point lead -- should know better. Also moving Lavert out of starting five was a must == he gets the ball, drives and shoots, no one else ever touches it. Wouldnt be surprised to see him get traded for a more team-oriented guard, just my opinion.
