Thoughts…..

A few thoughts. All 4 games should be good this week with no blowouts. Clear Fork / Highland is for all the marbles. Shelby/Ontario should also be really good. Pleasant gets a chance at their first league win this week although Harding has been known to upset them. Positioning at stake in the River Valley / Galion game. The home team has won all 8 meetings. Is this the year Galion changes that? I understand RV may be without at least the WR and maybe the QB that I think may be brothers. That May skew things in Galion’s way.

Can a MOAC original come back in and take back the title, or will it continue to reside in Richland county, as it has ever since the MOAC first expanded there?

There was a very good reason CF football wanted into the MOAC. Plus we know Shelby wanted in a larger league originally but did not get the approval.

Dude is SOOOO right! Lex didn't like being the smallest school in the OCC either. Lex wanted CF to stay and Ontario and Shelby to join so they would have 3 schools smaller than they were

W.T.F. Lex has had no problem with being in the OCC with bigger schools. The issue they may have had was possible travel concerns with New Philadelphia joining the league and the thought of Dover coming in also. Hell this year is a good example with West Holmes being by far the smallest school in the OCC blowing everyone out on the football field. Also Mt. Vernon getting blown out every game and they are the biggest school. But hey they won one game in the MOAC. Lex has won the all sports trophy in most years going back to the Ohio Heartland Conference. I do like the MOAC but why didn't Galion, River Valley, Pleasant, or Harding want Lex in?

I am thinking on attending the Clear Fork at Highland game. I do like the Colts in this match up. There overall team speed will be the difference. The Colts 35-21 over the Scots.

Lexington does not have a problem with the OCC teams. The only cause for Lexington looking to another league was due to the addition of a team being added that was 70 miles away. And if an opening occurs the addition of another just as far. The competition for Lexington is good.

I think the reason Galion and the Marion County schools voted against Lexington was because they felt Highland was a better choice for the league. They also knew Highland was probably going to be looking in their direction which they did. I also think had Highland said no in 2020, the MOAC would’ve ended up inviting Lexington.

AND you know all of the "admins"? At one time or another you've claimed to know them all personally in every school in every North Central Ohio League. I find that hard to believe. Unless you sell janitorial supplies to all schools in North Central Ohio.

Galion’s administration was not in favor of Lex joining the MOAC and the fact that Lex has dominated in most sports not named football or basketball was a big factor. I’m just stating that I think (I have no inside knowledge of this) the Marion County MOAC schools and Galion may have figured Highland was considering changing their mind and they wanted Highland before Lex. That’s why I think Lex would’ve been invited to the MOAC if Highland would’ve turned down the invite in 2020.

I have it from a good source you are correct about Pleasant and RV wanting Highland back in their league and Harding was going to do what ever the other 2 county schools wanted so to not distance themselves. My point was that Galion had a different reason for their vote against Lex then the Marion County schools.

Your point is noted. I’m simply saying Galion may have changed their mind had Highland declined.

WOW what an offensive Juggernaut from the Galion Tigers, 42 in one half! This team is something special and it will make that long run in the playoffs. No defense in the region can stop the running game with Ivy and Prosser. No team in the region has seen this kind of running attack. They will push around any defense that comes in their way. Can't wait to see these guys in Canton come December

Galion with the big win 56-49!!! Now its on to the playoffs, if I was the other team that Galion will face I would be shaking in their shoes because that was an offensive show tonight. No defense can stop the running attack all you do is give it to #2 and he will do the rest. When Galion goes up by two scores it is over. The defense showed up in the second half and only allowed 15 points so they defense can do it
