Where are all the fake fans, that gave up on their Buckeyes. Every game has FOUR quarters and the Buckeyes showed their meddle in the final quarter.
J. T. TUIMOLOA NATIONAL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK......take it to the bank!

you're right, games are four quarters long. OSU can afford to loaf through three quarters vs inferior opponents like PSU and turn it up late to win, but the day is fast approaching when that will cost them biggly. This team can be as good as it wants to be WHEN IT WANTS TO BE. Us "fake fans" who see some cracks in this team are just realists enough to know that there is alot of work to do the rest of the season and you have to be able to be on your best all of the time if you want to be the best. GO BUCKS!

Yeah all the struggles early on is going to eventually cost this team a game, possibly in the playoffs if they make it there. We need to capitalize on those early turnovers our defense caused. The game could have easily been 21-0 but instead it was only 3-0.

GO BUCKS! I wouldn’t call their performance “loafing.” I’ll say it again, Penn State comes to play against the Buckeyes like no other. The atmosphere of Happy Valley and a talented team, give you what we watched today. I also think they wanted to be their best today, Penn State is a good team. They have one of the best secondaries in the country and that showed today. They ran great blitz packages and just dropped the ball at the end of the game when OSU turned it up a few notches. I think the buckeyes use this game as a “look in the mirror” type game. What they’re doing now isn’t NC champ caliber. Do they continue on the same path, or elevate even more. Let’s be honest, late in this game Harrison Jr., JT, Henderson, and CJ all took that leap to another level. Will everyone else join them… If they do watch out. Wins like this only make an already hungry team, even hungrier.

I can't believe all the Debbie Downers that see the glass half empty. Defense played a solid game, possibly a great game and granted, the offense was out of sync and sputtering early on, with all the lateral plays, bubble screens, basically playing into the hands of the PSU defense. Late 3rd qtr. they started doing what this team does better than anyone else in the country, throwing the ball down field. You could just see the attitude of the offense changing before our very eyes and they finally got the rhythm that was missing most of the game. When they get their rhythm & tempo, they are scary good.

I’ll also make the claim now, any comparison between how the Buckeyes and TTUN, did against PSU is irrelevant in my book. Nothing more than speculation and ill advised opinions.

Let me complete your list of those that stepped up and played like Champions when it mattered most: TreVeyon Henderson, Marvin Harrison Jr., C.J. Stroud, Steele Chambers, Tommy Eichenberg, Zach Harrison, Ronnie Hickman, while Cade Stover an amazing game and J.T. Tuimoloau had an epic performances today!

Without question, this Penn State team has progressed from the mistake prone team we saw against Michigan. Despite this loss, they are a solid top 15 team. The Buckeyes needed an honest test and they got one today.

I’m not saying the Buckeyes schedule is leaps and bounds better, but what is the expectation for TTUN fans… my expectation is that they better be undefeated. They better have a healthy running offense with that RB, and their defense better be good against that weak *** schedule. Potato-potatoe, TTUN is right where the minimum expectation is.

CJ's Heisman and B12 title going out the door. Once again, in a physical game, osu falls short. We've all, myself included, been looking through scarlet and gray glasses far too long at this team Oh really?? My experience, it's games like this that separates the true fans and exposes the fake fans. So, I guess you can turn in your scarlet and gray glasses and go watch soccer or cricket, if that's what you want. Think C.J.'s Heisman hopes went out the door today?.......really? C.J. had a pretty good day at the office. 26-34 passes for 354 yards. Completion percentage: 76.4% 0 interceptions 1 TD passing.

Stroud is still definitely in the Heisman race, today didn’t diminish that. He may not have had his normal 4 TD’s or whatever but he was still very good.
I want to watch Michigan tonight and see how they look, MSU has had their number the last couple seasons. I’ll see if my thoughts of them being more complete than OSU is valid.

The haters, sure he didn’t throw 3-5 TD’s, but he commanded his team to a very hard fought win. It isn’t all about scoring, though it may appear that way. He never quit, he never said “this crowd is too much.” He went out there series after series and did what he could do to ensure a victory. That 30-35 second drive to go down and score was a thing of beauty. Say what you want about the Nittney Lions defense, but he took what was presented and executed at an elite level. It’s easy to love the buckeyes when they’re killing the little sisters of the BIG10, games like this separate us though. Win or lose I was riding with these young men, because they’re it.

I’ve posted enough, but my last word of the day maybe……
What if JSN was healthy and MW didn’t leave with an injury….. play with what you have and the Buckeye did and found a way to win. THAT IS ALL.
We’re seeing an offense at 75% today.

So far, OSU/PSU is the best game of the day. Can anyone have predicted K-State totally dominating and demoralizing #9 Oklahoma State 49-0 ? This is on par with the Ohio State destruction of Wisconsin 59-0 a few years ago and I don't remember what Wisconsin's ranking at the time. I do know, they were feeling pretty good about themselves coming into that game with the best RB in the B1G and the country etc.
Think Miyan Williams has his pinky finger taped and it may get replaced with a playing cast, that should not inhibit him from competing. The icing of the knee thing, if my memory serves me right, he has been going through that regimen for a while now, after he comes off the field after games.

Miyan is the type of player if he isn’t dead or a hamper on the field, he is playing. I would say rest him for TTUN. We need our offense at the near best we can be. I’m starting to except the last we saw of JSN was against ND.

I'm more worried about Henderson, he's A LOT more fragile than Miyan I agree. What worries me more about him though is his unwillingness to just pick a hole and turn it on. I watched him several times today dance and shuffle when he should be running ahead. For me Henderson is a bit of a mystery this year. Is he trying to stay healthy for the league, because it’s starting to effect his production and make it appear he doesn’t like contact. Compared to last year, he is a different back almost entirely.

If Henderson really is trying to stay healthy for the league, it’s not helping him because right now what team is going to draft him? He’d go undrafted if he was eligible after this season.

I'm more worried about Henderson, he's A LOT more fragile than Miyan I don't think I would quite use the term 'fragile' when describing either RB. TreVeyon is 5-10 215 and a pretty solid, physical stature. A rather unfair comparison for most RB's, as Miyan is a stud, more along the lines of Zeke. I see what you guys are talking about, with Henderson looking more tentative hitting a quickly closing hole that last year, his running was much more efficient. Last year, he would read his block make a cut and go with it. This year I see a moments hesitation and dancing feet, so he doesn't have that quick step he once had at the point of attack and he's running behind a better functioning line than last year IMO.

For me… I’m just a little unhappy with his dancing behind the line. Pick a hole and go!!!!!

Fragile since he's had more bumps and bruises that have kept him out of games than any Ohio State RB in my memory..Maybe you name one who has missed more time without having a serious injury
