2024 Enrollment Willard 184 Margaretta 140 Lakota 139 Huron 140 Yet Huron’s stuck in bay and all the other are allowed in river? How does the SBC justify this to Huron?? Willard and Margaretta get to choose what sports they stink at and get a free pass to the Creek Division.

Also, I can’t wait for the Creek Division to break off on their own since they aren’t forced to do crossovers like the other divisions. I’m willing to bet that Margaretta and Willard would run hard and fast to get in that league. Huron and Edison are basically on an island at this point.

Depending on CB, I see Clyde going back to D4, Vermillion to D5, and Huron to D6.

Sandusky moves into a solid region 6 in division 2, region 10 adds Cleveland Benedictine, Elyria Catholic, and Grafton Midview. Region 14 adds Clyde, Orrville, Ostego, Clearviee, and Ottawa Glandorf. Huron moves down to D6 as expected.

what are the odds the league moves Huron to the river for football? I mean, 140 boys... at some point not having as many kids to draw from has to hurt depth in a sport like football right?

They’d much rather have Huron play the much bigger schools then ever having Margaretta and Willard do the same. The reason the River even exists is just for those two schools to float back and forth between the River and Bay.

Willard football has been on its last legs for like a decade though, just let it die and become 8 man. They'd likely compete more in 8 man I think.

Also, what are they going to do if let’s say one of the Bay schools leave to another conference? Someone will have to come up and play in the Bay. That’s when I think the River will break off on its own cause I don’t see either of Margaretta or Willard wanting to be that school playing in the Bay full time.

Huron D6 playing #1 D-7 St Paul, #2 D-4 Brookside, #3 D-5 Genoa, #4 D-3 Dayton Dunbar, #5 D-3 Tiffin Columbian, #6 D-5 Port Clinton, #7 D-4 Bellevue, #8 D-4 Vermilion, #9 D-4 Clyde, #10 D-5 Edison ---- 4 wins could get Huron in the top 16. 6 wins likely top 10. so its good with the bad... this will also be the final year that we play st paul as they're picking up port clinton next year. Going to need to stay healthy but they have some athletes..
