I guess you need Warner cable to watch the games this year. Since I have At&T I guess I have to find a bar that has the HS football games? Seems wrong. Right now I'm listening on OHSAA radio. Let's Go Big Red (strictly from a Pick'em perspective). 7-7 in 2nd quarter.

Sports time ohio is not broadcasting them now that they sold out to Fox, Been watching it on BCSN, (Erie County), Bishop Hartley/Steubenville was a classic ending.

I still am not sure how Ignatius lost that game, but they did. Hard to believe a team with a 5-5 record wins the big school title.

Classic but sad if you have Steubenville in the Pick'em contest. On the radio it sounded like that FG attempt went almost straight up in the air. I think the Big Red wold have had the advantage in OT.

I had Steubenville in hopes of gaining some ground on smitty1974, I was 4 games out in the SBC pickems, so I waited and picked 4 opposites of smitty, But that strategy backfired, I should have done better during the season, LOL. All in good fun, Congratulations Smitty1974 and the other guys way ahead of me now. What's good bout the champioship games this year, We haven't had a running clock game yet.

The Big Red dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in the second half. It was too bad that the game was decided by a kicker. The missed attempt was due to the kicker hitting the tee instead of the ball and it popping straight for 10 yards or so. BH nearly had a kick six but the return was stopped around the 17. I was hoping that Steubenville would go for it on 4th down, since they seemed to running downhill...that's why I am on NOSF instead of down at the Horseshoe. After the troll that briefly roamed these halls I had never wanted a team other than ;ichigan to lose more.

I'm hearing that there is video of the Steubenville head coach sucker punching a player below the belt. If true, he should be gone.

Canton Central Catholic beats Coldwater in dramatic fashion, In the final minute,16-13. Coldwater could have tied it with FG, But chose to win it, lost it in the end. Catholics win 6 of 7 football state championships this year. Yet, the OHSAA complains of the lack of fans attending the games. A few years ago, the coaches voted in favor of seperate championships, Like California, The OHSAA said no to that idea.

So the roster data collection period for football is over and that will drive the multipliers for the 2017-18 season (http://ohsaa.org/School-Resources/Competitive-Balance-Resource-Center). It will be interesting to see if any of the private schools move up a division for the 2017-18 season.
Also does anyone think the parochial schools could have beaten the public schools in the finals of the next higher division. For example could Warren JFK have beaten Marion Local? Could Canton Central Catholic have beaten Steubenville? Could Hartley have beaten Trotwood Madison? Could Hoban have beaten Perry? I know it's difficult to judge this even watching the games but I could not see the games this year.
