No echo, there was added information without blaming a coach.
Do you have any time for Ontario updates? Typically you post game results, coaching decisions, sceneries and stats after each game. Why nothing?

Asked and answered. After which there was a reiterated by the one who asked. Read.

I must have missed your full I depth report on player actions and coaching moves along with player stats from the 3 Ontario and Lexington games.

Yes, you're AWOL OR looking for another one of YOUR pissing matches. I HAVE mentioned "actions" of more than one Ontario player. I refrained from mentioning the actions of a player in a NOL/OCC game, thinking of your bad heart. I HAVE mentioned coaching moves. I HAVE mentioned player stats. DUH!! Ontario has only played Lex once, not trice.

In past your huge rants were present during winning seasons. No where to be found now.

In past your huge rants were present during winning seasons. No where to be found now. Huge rants = to declaim extravagantly or violently in an unbounded extent. Do you have proof of that insult? Ontario has not had a losing season since 1993-94. Are you predicting Ontario will have a losing season? To lesson your put downs, derisions and invective to preclude my First Amendment rights, I've made every effort to lesson my interpretive reporting for you. AND there are far fewer same day or next day sources from which to garner statistics and information.

Relax and enjoy. I never made a season prediction. Just an observation of your abnormal actions in this year's young season Ontario went 10-11 in the 2004-05 season. In 1993-94 they were 21-3. In 1992-93 they were 15-7. In 1991-92 it was 8-14.

Only because I must speak as spoken to. 10-10 regular season in 2004-05. As you noted, the last regular season losing record for Ontario was 25 years ago. Thanks for correcting

Read again. Abnormal actions. Big difference but the way you spin things i'm not surprised.
You said season, not regular season. Season typically means from start to finish. Regardless, it was not 1993-94 as posted so I thought I would help you with your facts. You're Welcome.

For one who is accused of making abnormal actions, it follows that person is abnormal. If one is an illegal alien, is he not an illegal? If one makes rapist actions is he not a rapist? If one burgles is he not a burglar? If one runs a lot is he not a runner? When people vote they are voters. Do you need another 1000 examples? Those who accuse others of spin, are without a logical rejoinder. If you don't understand, you're abnormal.
I thanked you for the correction. I always thank you, but you never thank me when I correct you. I'm still WAY ahead on corrections. All of which says A LOT about you.

I have no idea where this thread is going with Scooter and Willard.
The real question is....is this the worst Mansfield Sr team in the last 20 years? Unless things start trending the other direction I think it might be.

Very possibly is unc4life. It would seem that the direction and maybe leadership of the program has declined over recent years.

This is the worse since the 70's when they had some shaky teams..........in 81 they were 5-15 but the next year they won 15..........But even then you could see they had talent and even lower level d 1 guys......... always had some exciting fresh / sophs's............From what I hear now the talent isnt there.......6'3 to 6'6 athletic guys were once a dime a dozen but from what i see on wmfd games and highlights they look very average with no size.................I know Lima which is a similar school went through some lean times for about 4-6 years before they rebounded again. recently................ If Sr high had any success in sports it was basketball but unless things change maybe this is just the way things will be from this point forward.............I understand the population decline and some of the kids going to other schools but those good old days might never come back............I recently came back home to Mansfield recently for a visit and was blown away as to how so many of the neighborhoods look like a total run down mess..............Might be another topic but this is probably the new norm

All of which says a lot about someone working continuously to correct others. That says it all. YOU make a lot of corrections of others posts. YOU were the LAST to make a correction. Corrected the last regular season losing record I posted. I thanked you, YOU NEVER thank me. Which is more proof of the impolite, mean spirited person you are. "continuously"?? Yet another of your falsehoods or outlandish exaggerations. The more you speak the more you are being exposed for what you are. Keep it up, PLEASE!!

Obviously you feel it a "must", by the multitude that you correct. Is there a reason your feel yours shouldn't apply?

As I told you, it was because YOU "must". I just do as you do and speak as you speak, an alter ego so to speak. You haven't figured that out as yet?

I see know. So you are saying that I control your actions. Interesting. This is a power I never intended to have.
I think we have given the readers enough off topic. You can stop now.

Can anyone tell me about the 1984-85 State Runner-Up Tygers? How did a 13-7 regular season team make a run to the State Final? crawfordcountybasketball.com/richland/198485richland.html#mansfieldot win in the Sectional Semi 3 point win in Sectional Final 3 point win in District Semi 3 point win in District Final 4 point win in Regional Semi 17 point win in Regional Final 10 point win in State Semi Lost in State Final Did someone come back from injury in the middle of the tournament, or was it one of those rare, team starts getting hot at just the right time. Because they certainly were not hot in those 2 Sectional games.

That team was talented but did struggle at times usually due to guys wanting the ball....On that Sr. High team Dapries was a freshman who didnt play much only ave 4 points a game........Tyrone Buck 14ppg was a 6'5" jumping jack who played junior college due to grades then disappeared....Tim Harless 15ppg 6'3" guard forward was athletic and from what I recall lettered 4 years on OSU volleyball team....My fav on team was Bubba Toodie 12ppg 6'1" ultra athletic but skinny guard who had full rides for track in long jumping and sprints..think he was 1st or 2nd at state in both events.. believe he went to Texas on full ride for track and god knows what happened but was back in town months later... total waste of talent......Rob Andrews 6'1" 6ppg was usually the other starter a powerfully built guy who had a full ride and performed well at eastern kentucky at running back........So to answer your question I feel they finally jelled and got hot at the right time.......
Now you got me thinking that team got beat twice by Malabar who was state ranked with the 6'5 pair of Eugene mcruter and Anthony Melton with guards Andre Feagin, Don Williams and Melvin Selmon.....plus freshman Brian Bueford 6'5" who didnt play varsity but was one my favorite all time Falcon players.....................This goes back to my original comment about Mansfield and their current situation.................Those teams were great and couldn't imagine those two combined like they are now................

Because they certainly were not hot in those 2 Sectional games. Look at who the 6 regular season losses were to, and all but one were on the road. lost at 22-1 Malabar 68-70 lost at 12-10 Lexington in OT 63-67. Lex started out 9-3 lost at 19-5 Willard 80-92. Willard lost to Malabar 2x, and once to 4 loss Bellevue lost at 19-7 St. Peter's 77-85. 13 ppg scorer Tyrone Buck was injured and did not play. He scored 4 in the loss at Madison the next week lost at 13-8 Madison 67-74. Madison's Tim Dennison goes off for 25 lost to 22-1 Malabar 64-65 lost at Massillon Washington 84-89. I believe Massillon was 12-6 after that game. 12 ppg scorer Eric "Bubba" Toddie missed this game due to an injury

Unofficially if Don Williams had scored 15 more points for Malabar they would have had 6 guys average double figures...assuming the 4 games Melton didn't show up in the box scores were DNPs.

Thank you guys. Sounds like a team full of talent that didn't mesh well together as a cohesive unit for the majority of the season, and finally at some point during the District Tournament things started to change and they started playing better together. Then once at the Regional they finally figured out how to mesh perfectly with one another and smashed their Regional Final and State Semi opponents.
