Norwalk is a dump anyway compared to Huron. I'd take a tiger over a trucker any day.

Notice- I don't bring Upper or Lex into this discussion thus proving its not a jealously thing. I saw those teams play and I saw who they played. Huge difference in competition. Absolutely This guy wants to glorify his beloved and have them mentioned in the same sentence with badass schools and programs. It takes more than 1 football team in an easy setup,,,and one 4 year stretch in hoops. Check the definition of the word "Anomaly"= his beloved. I've re read this thread a couple times "who is this guy???" because I thought your reference was to me however I have not mentioned a single school anywhere other than your beloved...

OHSAA may have counted titles twice if they are in the same sport but saw it as different schools. It took a LONG time to convince the OHSAA that Ontario had nothing to do with Mansfield, after it incorporated in 1958. Nothing changed in the year that the OHSAA finally dropped the "Mansfield".

Had "opinion" decided the 1974 AA football title, Shelby would have been in the playoffs instead. They defeated Norwalk, but their previous loss to Tiffin Columbian left the door open for Norwalk to earn enough points to take the top spot in the region. Whippets fans were definitely unhappy, but that's how the rules played out.
