I'm guessing... 1. OG 2. Wapak 3. Upper 4. Shawnee (def. Elida) 5. Elida 6-10. Jumbled mess, due to WBL standings 11. Celina (def. Bath) 12. Bath
OG-Wapak don't play until Feb. 11.

The winner of OG-Wapa will be the 1 seed and the loser likely the 3 seed. They voted Upper 2 last year so I don't see why they won't again. In this new format with all the schools being seeded in the district it is actually better to be the 3 seed than the 2 seed. The 2 seed has to go the opposite bracket of the 1. I hope the NW district change that next season

The winner of the OG-Wapak game will be decided after the seeding is completed.

Seeding is 2/12. OG plays Wapakoneta on the 10th and Lexington on the 11th. They come out of that with wins I look for them on the 1 seed. Lose both I feel they may even drop to 4 seed.

Seeding is 2/12. OG plays Wapakoneta on the 10th and Lexington on the 11th. ... "Seeding" on the bracket is Feb. 12, but the voting is closed before that due to the online process. Coaches submit bios for x-number of days, then have x-number of days to vote for seeds, then they meet in person to place themselves on the bracket on Sunday Feb. 12. I believe voting is closed prior to the OG-Wapak game, meaning they'll probably be top two seeds if they don't lose before then.

The seeding will be completed before the Wapak-OG game. They will decided when, where and who they play on Feb 12.

What is the cut off of voting because I thought it was later? Like Saturday night before the draw on Sunday. Just what I was told that why I was basing it on that.

I always understood the cut to be Friday afternoon so the coaches could get the results on Friday or Saturday so they could look at the bracket a little before they met.

All games through the 12th are accounted for in the seeding. Your seeds are finalized Sunday morning Coaches have to enter their records into the system from 2/5 - 2/8. They then can vote on seeds from 2/9 until the afternoon of 2/10. Games played after 2/8 will not be entered into the system and the voting will be done before the games on Friday according to an northwest AD.

Don't understand in the age of the internet why they they think so much time is needed. I mean how long does it take to look at 12 schools records and come up with how you want to seed them? 5-10 minutes?

Regardless, the 2/10 and 2/11 games will not be included in the seeding vote for the district.

I mean how long does it take to look at 12 schools records and come up with how you want to seed them? 5-10 minutes? Because as discussed on here ad nauseam, records aren't always what they appear. A week gives coaches some time to think & plan. Also, it puts to bed the seeding before weekend games and allows them to focus on such. It allows them to come up with a bracket strategy in enough time that they don't have to worry about it on Sunday morning. Could they make voting through Saturday afternoon, sure, but I'd guess that most coaches don't want that distraction if they have a Fri-Sat double-header, especially with league implications still on the line.

Smh..๐๐ Ask your local AD or coach then, because those are the only two who receive the information. Public doesn't vote, so not posted for public eyes. OHSAA won't have it because each district handles their own tournament procedures (ie: standard vs super sectionals, neutral site vs higher seed hosts). NWDAB would be the site for it, but it's not posted there either.

I guarantee coaches on Thursday 2/1 already have a very good idea what they think the order of the top seeds are.

This might actually be the year for the Rams... The WBL appears to be down this year all the way up to the top OG nor Wapak. appear overly strong compared to prior years...

^^ The reason for the untypically close margin of victory in their games this past weekend? Not good for seeding purposes.

Big game for the WBL tonight. And big weekend for Ottawa Glandorf. Wapakoneta for what will be the WBL crown. Lexington to be a good gauge of how the two district's stack up against each other. Hope both games offer up some excitement ๐๐
