Of all the people, Joe B was the best hire without a doubt. A good house cleaning on the lower levels was expected.

Any staff with Dave Hirschy is better than one without him.

Hirschy will be a great assistant. Its a great combo. Win Win for Willard. I look for Willard to have a winning record next season.

I don't see where a team that went 3-20 last year and lost its two best players is going to go 12-10 this year to be above .500.

With Willard moving to the smallest division of the SBC this will be easier than you think. Not saying it will happen but not having to play the bigger schools twice a year will make it easier.

One problem with your reponse is they aren't in the smallest division for basketball, they are in the middle. Teams like Huron, Edison, and margaretta won't be pushovers. And I've heard willard is still playing a lot of the former NOL teams.

From what I remember Willard will be playing Shelby(twice), Norwalk and Bellevue. Tiffin, Ontario, and Sandusky were off the schedule. I think a lot of the other non league games were still the same like Lex, Upper, BC, Hopewell Loudon, Madison.

If Ron is right, then 2 losses to Edison, 2 losses to Huron, 2 losses to Vermilion, 2 losses to Shelby, 1 loss to Bellevue, 1 loss to Norwalk, 1 loss to Lex, 1 loss to Madison, 1 loss to Upper. 9-13 at the best. Not knowing what they can do in the 6 games against PC, OH and Margaretta.

Willard will be better and Shelby, Norwalk, Bellevue, Upper and Madison all may not be better than last season.

I'm not sure what you mean but all I did was provide what I remember the schedule looked like for next year. There was question as to who exactly was on the schedule so I posted who was on it. I never said anything about wins or losses.
Hopefully everyone else that reads that post is able to comprehend it better than tommygunn did.

It's either a reading comprehension thing or an alterior agenda thing. Either way you can't win Everyone is talking about how the league shakeup is going to make the new coach look good no matter what. That schedule isn't a whole lot easier. Easier...but not a whole lot.

FWIW, Margaretta had ZERO seniors this past season, so they will return their top 12 players.

If that's the case then Margaretta could be one of the favorites of that division for the SBC next season.

Over under wins 17-18 7.5 Are you thinking Willard Admins fired a coach and hired a new coach to get 8 wins?

Over under wins 17-18 7.5 Are you thinking Willard Admins fired a coach and hired a new coach to get 8 wins? They fired a winning football coach and haven't sniffed a winning record in football in like 15 years. I think this crew would fire Bob Haas.

I think this crew would fire Bob Haas. If true the football could have been reason for some to remove this crew from their positions. Why keep them around?

Will Upper be playing for their third 22-0 season? Will Ry Adams be able to fill Wes Vent's shoes?

With Adams not there and some key pieces graduating(namely Vent), I'd say the Flashes have a good chance of starting the season with a win.
