During the last 5 years of Sadam Hussein's rein of terror, except for a few reporters that came and went, all US news agencies were either thrown out of Iraq or closed their offices willingly... EXCEPT for CNN, that stayed open the entire time. The head of CNN at the time later reported the reason they were allowed to stay was that they promised not to report anything negative about Sadam, his government or their atrocities. They just reported the party line. Fake news and liars then and still at it 15 years later.

There's nothing wrong with the media taking political sides in the USA and reporting what they want. Hopefully people understand that and look for both sides of any issue before deciding what they believe. Watching CNN or MSNBC now is like watching FOX when Obama was president. Here's what Obama/Trump did today and here's why he's stupid, insensitive, inexperienced and not fit to be President.

Thanks for sharing these studies. I think Pew Research is about the election but the Harvard study is about the 1st 100 days of Trump. I did not say the negative coverage was identical just that it's skewed toward the president from the "other" party. I think these studies prove that out. The Harvard study does say that negative Trump coverage is setting records compared to past President's first 100 days. Clinton and Bush were about 60% negative compared to Trump at 80%.
