Florida State & Clemson are leaving the ACC for the B1G!
Sounds like it's not stopping there, as Notre Dame is in active talks with Big Ten officials, concerning membership.

Excited to see Knowles defense this year- highlighted by Caleb Downs at safety, one of the top defensive players in the country. As great as the WR room has been the past 5 years, we may not have seen an equal to Jeremiah Smith, the top HS player in America wearing the scarlet & gray.

An early congratulations to HC Jake Diebler. Despite his brief resume, he capitalized on his brief opportunity, with results on the floor. If you stop to think about it. Jake's father, Kieth Diebler will have a strong, indirect presence òn next season's Buckeye basketball. Keith's style of play will be more apparent, now that Jake has the reigns. Kieth coached and nurtured all three of his sons, especially Jon and Jake, on some great teams at Fostoria and Upper. That influence will show it's presence, I'm sure of that.

Most Michigan fans are in a self imposed comfort zone concerning thec serious charges and investigions. When the ÑCAA guillotine drops on Michigan, the crying wil begin. The cheaters will be crying that they are being punished unfairly.

But every year is different, so 2019, or any other year, has nothing to do with this year. except, you have the same Head Coach who doesn't know how to win the big game. He gets very tight in critical situations And winning a first in anything is always the most difficult. He feels the pressure. My, how memories get conveniently lost, when things are going right. This is the same exact comment we Buckeye fans had for Jim Harbaugh every year. Quite ironic, Michigan fans are uttering these same exact words...lol

Michigan fans are finally learning How it feels to be an Ohio State football fan the past 20+ years. They better savor their dream 15-0 Championship season, because heartbreak city might be just over the horizon.
With the challenging schedule Michigan is faced this coming season, I can see 4 losses being a very real possibility. Barring any upsets to lesser opponents (Fresno State won 9 games last year, Texas is loaded and a national contender, USC will be a nail biter, Minnesota is not a gimme, at Washington (14-1 last year) should be favored, Oregon is loaded and talking playoff finals and Ohio State is loaded. I can easily see 4 losses and as many as 6. Throw in the the NCAA penalties that are looming. This year may be a hard pill to swallow.

I've been enjoying the Buckeye ladies for years, but they are kicking it up a notch this year! They bring an exciting brand of basketball and a sold out arena enjoyed basketball at it's best! Caitlin Clark is truly amazing, been a big fan of hers throughout her collegiate career.

If Day does the right thing and boots Frye and upgrades OL coaching, Will Howard can be a dynamic QB for Ohio State.

This is a scandal of major proportions. If the allegations prove true, Michigan football will be in for a serious impact. Harbaugh may not survive this.

With Joe Burrow sidelined, while his strained calf mends, the Bengals are looking at several QB's available in FA. Last year, Joe was eecovering from an appendectomy about this time. He wasn't 100%, early on and opened 0-2, before finding their stride and ripping off 10 consecutive wins. Coach Zach understands the importance of a strong start this year, acknowledging the AFC North is the toughest division in football.

Ohio State is ranked #2 in 2024 recruiting, but they have the 2nd best per player average of 91.33 with 18 players committed.
Georgia is currently, in 1st place at the moment, due to having more commits (26), but a lower average (90.92)
Alabama will make their traditional, late run in recruiting. They are currently #14 in the rankings, with only 12 commits, but have the best average of 91.92, slightly better than the Buckeyes.
Ohio State has a real shot at winning the recruiting crown for the 2024 class, but it's going to interesting how things finish between OSU, Bama and Georgia.

Left Field Pizza in New Riegel is now, one of northwest Ohio's newest and brightest pizza/entertainment venues. They feature live entertainment every Sat. night on their brand new, outdoor stage. Serving from a 60 ft. outdoor bar and a massive outdoor seating area. For big games they have a 81" HD big screen. Went there last evening to see 'Spoiled Rotten' perform and the pizza was great, the crowd was large and appreciative and the large dance floor was filled with couples, dancing the night away.

The Bengals are totally focused on getting to and winning this years Super Bowl. In an air of cool confidence, they will view week by week opponents with 'they have to play us' mentality.

I like UConn in this. Final Four for women had the cream of the crop on top, with #1,2 and 3 seeds.
Men's has been quite the surprise this year. Great teams during the season aren't necessarily good tournament teams and we are seeing this to be the case this year.

No question, Georgia Amoore is one of the better guards they will face this year. Amoore was named ACC mvp. Jacey Sheldon is one of the better defenders in the game, so it should be an interesting matchup. Ohio State had no answer for Amoore and Kitley, other than to foul. VaTech made 9 more free throws. All else was even in the game. They played her quite well most of the game, but when it became crunch time, Amoore. Caitlin Clark is the most complete player I have seen on the hardwood this year, men or women. What a great passing team, Iowa is. A true pleasure to watch....what a great game, bringing down the unbeatable.

Wow! Is all that can be said of the Iowa/South Carolina game! South Carolina has been dominating in all of their 36 of their wins and on a 41 game win streak, going back to last year. Iowa, led by Caitlin Clark, the National POY, put on a clinic with assists and scoring 41 points a tournament record. Iowa's the best passing team I've seen all year, men or women!

Except for VaTech I'm afraid. They are much more like Ohio State than UCONN. And have THE best PG I've seen this year. No question, Georgia Amoore is one of the better guards they will face this year. Amoore was named ACC mvp. Jacey Sheldon is one of the better defenders in the game, so it should be an interesting matchup.

UConn wracked up 31 wins this season, defeating #3 Texas, #10 NC State, #4 Iowa and lost by only 4 to undefeated and top ranked South Carolina. No matter how good their guard play is, this Buckeye defense will present problems for anybody.

Indeed they did, convincingly! This team is loaded with great talent and that talent is stepping up in a big way. 28 wins and counting, but they will have to really bring it vs. Virginia Tech!

Elite Eight!!!! One of the biggest wins in program history. UConn had made 16 consecutive Elite Eights and 14 consecutive Final Fours. That defense is a pleasure to watch and these gals are playing with such confidence.

8 players on the Lady Buckeyes were named Academic All-Big Ten! Saturday 4pm on ESPN, taking on UConn!
I agree with RB, MSU/K State was a great game. Both teams played at an extremely, high level 2nd half.

The women had to come back from 24 down yesterday and now are getting thrashed once again, this time by 28 and it’s only the 2nd quarter. You could see it in their demeanor from the get go. They virtually, had nothing left in the tank after being mentally and emotionally drained the night before, with the dramatic, come from behind victory.

This team is good but let’s stop acting like they’re one of the best ever. How many times have they been blown out this year or had to come back from way down just to win? The team with Kelsey Mitchell several years back would probably beat them. Let's not ignore the spate of injuries this team has had to endure. As I stated before, when they aren't shooting well, their vaunted press becomes rather non-existant. Looking forward to the NCAA and hope they have some size to bolster the front line next year.
