I could see Keith Mora here. He’s applied all over because he wants out of Danbury.

The Lake is really bad this year frankly I think it is somewhat of an anomaly...Bellevue will get better, as will Perkins and both TC and Clyde should be much better next season. Sandusky is well Sandusky and Norwalk has a couple more years before the cupboard goes bare... I agree, and Next year will be it for awhile for Norwalk in my opinion. Would not be surprised if Gray retires after next year.

Only a few games in but overall, the SBC Teams this year my not be as good as teams past in the area. The lake has been in existence how long ?? and Norwalk and Sandusky have been good, not great... So we already don’t believe that they are ,what a regional level team Because I believe Norwalk who lost in the regional semi is as far as a Lake team has gone or am I forgetting something??? I am just saying overall I don't believe that this years teams are as good as they have been the past few years, I get Norwalk and Sandusky are decent teams , but there both not as deep, both have lost very talented players who carried there teams in some cases, I get they may win a couple of games in the tourney but I don't see a regional level team this year. Again its early and they will need to pass the eye test, but they really don't have the teams on there schedule this year that challenge them like in years past except there conference. We'll but that is my early observation. I think the firelands has a couple team who would challenge a few SBC teams. Sandusky has a player that can carrie them , but I believe Norwalk will have to really on more than 1.

?, Why is there a whole thread just on Willard Basketball, is it because its the only thing there good at. Serious question. actually,, what all sports do you follow??? outside of football they're pretty good at every thing else... It is what it is, there just seem to be a lot of separate Willard strands, do we need to just start a strand for every school in the area. Thought this was the North Coast - North Central Ohios all Sports Talk , not the Willard OH all sports talk. lol

?, Why is there a whole thread just on Willard Basketball, is it because its the only thing there good at. Serious question. I will take a stab at answering this honestly. It is because there is a large number of Willard basketball fans on this site and they like to discuss their program more than fans from the other teams. Some like to give updates specific to only the Flashes team and a few are parents that only have interest in their kid's sport. It makes more sense to have a separate thread than to take over the SBC Division thread with 5 pages of posts about one team and none of it dealing with the other SBC teams. Ok Thanks for the clarification, was just wonder since , no one really cares , except the people from Willard.

As a Norwalk fan I am not going to give a score, but I think it will be close, Good luck to Sandusky and I hope the rep the SBC lake well but, I feel this is a match up problem for them.

?, Why is there a whole thread just on Willard Basketball, is it because its the only thing there good at. Serious question. Willard's girls tennis team has won 3 straight SBC Titles and have never lost a single SBC match. ?, Why can't your school beat the Willard girls tennis team, is your school just that sad? Serious question. Thanks for that clarification, My childs school won 7 out of 9 SBC Lake Fall Sports Championships this year, one of them includes Girls Tennis. But my question was about Basketball , there is a SBC Bay thread,

I think if they go to this, there should be a claus that would include, mandatory inclusion of any conference winning team that didn't have enough points to be in the top 8. ie Gibsonburg 10-0 winner of the SBC River div, finished #9 in there region . Goes 10-0 and doesn't make the playoffs , because the conference they are in was down this year. That needs to be fixed.

My prediction is 1- Sandusky ( most talent in the SBC) 2-Norwalk (Haraway graduating will hurt, Long football run could affect there season, also if the starters don't do all the scoring there in trouble) 3-Clyde ( plays hard , wins games the shouldn't) 4-Tiffin (return some talent from last year that got better end of the year. long football run could also affect them.) 5-Perkins ( not sure what they have left) 6-Bellevue ( because I heard there best player is not playing and its Bellevue) The girls team will be the draw there. 7-Vermilion ( they lost everyone , real young and not good)
