I don’t think anyone on their staff is qualified .. i have seen the current vars assistant act like a total jack azz on multiple occasions

You also don’t break the rules by controlling enrollment, recruiting, or cheat eligibility standards. Congratulations to the Nubians, I guess

Would have like to see Polar Bears get Carey on a normal rest instead of playing 2 full games two nights prior. So is life of the Hs tournament but neck and neck for 3 quarters.

Only team to give a game away last night was the Rockets... 22-5 and you let a team come back from that. Ugh... Second game even with blown chances in each set of overtime was one of the best competed games I've watched in years. I agree there

How did Huron give it away?
Huron 20-34 from FT line Margaretta 21-38 from FT line

No... because winner plays central district. Top three teams in that district are really good. you don’t think huron or oak harbor playing there best ball has a shot No

Carey on paper should hang well with OH.. they have a heavy senior filed team. Point guard is a 4 year starter. How he plays is usually how the team plays. If he's off or in foul trouble they struggle. Like some have said their post may be the best on the district but again is foul prone. Yes and OH’s post is no slouch. He has had some big games this season. I think this is a very intriguing game

Yeah you are right. Oak Harbor not tested at all in the semifinal game, but apparently Carey wasn’t either.

This has the makings to be a pretty good game. Each team possesses a little something different. Carey has the best big man in the District, and Oak Harbor some of the best guards in the district.
My prediction: Rockets by 4

Agree with your assessments...
Biggest disappointment: Huron. By far.
Biggest surprise: Edison. They really competed with the leagues best.
Rest are about right. You pull arguably the best big man in the league from Margaretta and they’re a .500 team. Willard similar but not as good at other spots. Oak Harbor had a very nice year but not on same level as Vermilion.

Let’s just agree they are both horrific I’ll talk directly to you even though I’m sure WF will have to chime in. I actually believe Huron might be able to hang with mighty Upper in the tourney if they play as they did in the contests detailed above. Obviously in those games they didn’t play like a putrid team... I think they’ll win their first one pretty handily. But Upper’s guards are on a much higher level than Huron’s to me. Bobby has had a great run and is a great coach, but I think he’s ready to be done at Huron from what I hear/see

Once again Willard posting inaccuracies. Seeds can go anywhere they want, do not have to be opposite brackets. Cmon man Thanks for the up date. SO, after the #1 seed places themselves in the bracket, the #2 seed could choose to play the #1 seed in the first game. A good strategy to PO the #1 seed. Just curious, since the rule was changed, has a #2 seed chosen to play in the same Sectional/bracket with the #1 seed? Yes it actually happened a few years ago when Toledo Rogers was the #2 seed and hopped right on the #1

OH and Upper MUST "head opposite ways" by rule. Taking a bye is a coaches decision. Many coaches of 1 and 2 seeds prefer to play in the first round instead of sitting. The #1 and #2 seeds do NOT have to go in opposite halves of the bracket anymore. They could play each other in the sectional semi if they wanted to. You also aren't allowed to pass your turn anymore. Beat me to it.

A guess: Oak Harbor and Upper will head opposite ways and take the bye at each site. And Carey will hop on Oak Harbor’s side

The ole Monday morning quarterback ha ha
Congrats you can read box scores! If 7-9 isn’t getting better, then a 2 point loss to a 9-7 team isn’t getting “worked over.”
