again, Frost would have to go 37-1 in his next 38 games to match Harbaugh's winning percentage at UM
if Harbaugh is a dead man walking then Frost is a decapitated zombie

Scorr Frost isn't teetering he is done. NEB was leaking incriminating info on him this summer. That's never a good sign.

also, Haskins really could have used a 2nd year as a starter (see:Joe Burrows) and maybe the NIL money will allow Ewers the freedom to stay in college longer if he chooses

if development is the desire he should look to start for (2) years, although it is certainly possible he has (1) baller year as a starter and enters the draft Dwayne Haskins did that. yes so did Mac Jones, Kyler Murray, so it's def possible we only get 1-year of him altho 1-year of Ewers/Henderson/Harrison/Egbuka might be enough hehe

so if Ewers sits for 2 years and starts for 2 years he would be entering the draft after his "Junior" year of college
hmm

does the NFL still have the "2-years removed from HS" rule and how does that affect a guy who only goes to HS for 3 years?

^ i think that will be the case which is a *shame* in some aspect because McCord is fantastic ^
also, Ewers will not sit this year and next, at least i don't think so...if Sarkesian gets things humming at Texas it wouldn't shock me to see Ewers tranfer back there if Stroud starts for 2 years

McCord is a true freshman, Stroud is the guy who is primed and ready to have a big year THIS SEASON. I am a huge fan of Stroud, like a HUGE fan. I just (selfishly) want to see us get as many starting years as we can out of Stroud/McCord/Ewers, I assumed when Ewers committed that Miller would be the odd man out but now there is a real log jam. Hope we don't spend two years developing a guy that goes out and Burrows for another B10 program or National Conpetitor.

Chris Childers & Rick Neuheisel program on ESPNU this morning was discussing the current state of events in the college football world, said that Kansas to the Big Ten is a 'done deal'. If the B1G expands, it will probably be at least two, in my estimation.......stay tuned. Kansas is an AAU school, as is Iowa State, Missouri and Colorado. Without having to go to the Left Coast for schools. ALL would love competing in the Big Ten West. Pittsburg and Virginia also, but they'd have to play in the East. all those schools would be solid adds, and on a personal note i was always a big fan of the Kansas/Mizzou rivalry and would love to see that rekindled...there is a real ugly history between the states and putting them in the same Conference/Division would be fantastic same with Iowa/Iowa State, Nebraska/Colorado at this point there is nothing to indicate the SEC is finished...would think UNC would be a logical fit, CLEM and FSU maybe not so much but who knows would love to see Ryan Day go ballZ deep on PIT once or twice a year because 4uck Mark May haha

Arkansas, who can't do anything in the SEC, can go back with A&M and add all the other Texas school who want in. Texas oil money can buy about anything they want. SWAC 2.0 lolZ Maybe they can merge with the artist formerly known as the Big Sky Conference and form a sooper team.

The B12 is done. No one is going to sign the leftovers of that league to the TV deals they are used to getting. Goodbye revenue stream. A&M can wail and gnash their teeth all they want, they ain't leaving the SEC to go back to a league that no longer "exists." And even if they did, no one would give a 5hit.

I don’t like the idea of Ewers coming this year. I think it just causes more problems than anything, in my opinion. And seems like it’d be less time that we would actually get to see him play in an OSU uniform in the long run you are being kind, this is an absolute nightmare imho...i mean relatively speaking, it can only be so bad when you have TOO many good QBs but what, we get 1 year of Stroud and then he transfers out when Ewers wins the job heading into next season? or maybe before this season is over? does everyone sit until Ewers 2-year run is over? no one is keeping this kid on the bench, at least not for long i guess as an OSU fan it doesn't matter but my lord that's a LOT of chefs in the QB room

will be interesting to see how stringent the AAU "rule" will be enforced moving forward, imho you have to look at waiving this rule especially given NEB is not a member atm
Iowa State, Kansas, Mizzou (if the leave the SEC), hell Louisville would be a great member if it came to it travel wise and also would be a great natural rival for IU.
My faith in Kevin Warren to make any of these decisions correctly or navigate the new landscape with an accurate vision of where the B10 needs to be in 5 years is about as low as it can be.
I am diametrically opposed to adding any West Coast schools although I will admit you could prob come up with a scenario where this worked travel/schedule wise.

we ain't moving to Vegas, if anyone goes to Vegas it will be the A's
i do think there is a good chance we get shipped to Nashville or Charlotte, and if we do leave it will almost certainly be one of those two cities...Baltimore already has a MLB team rofl

bro ND will never join the B10, they would go 8-4 or 7-5 EVERY FREAKING YEAR Harbaugh would even get up in those guts. ND is garbage. Certainly, the Irish hasn't met expectations for quite some time. However, they have some nice recruiting classes coming in, so expect them to be in the playoff conversation most every year, for the foreseeable future. yeah, because they play an ACC schedule, same reason Clem-step-son is in the mix every year

sure they will sell some merchandise but not as much as they could have with a complete re-branding (name/color scheme/logo) with a more marketable name
i mean they could have done a lot worse than Guardians (a large part of me was terrified it would be Commodores or Rockers) but this re-brand is pretty lame, if you are going to go this route (and hey they had to, it is what it is) THEN GO ALL IN, LEAN INTO IT and come out with something that makes people go WOW
that is the most diappointing thing...the timing of the announcement was awful (coinciding with olympics) which is inexcusable, you just had like 3 solid days AFTER the all-star game where you literally could have been the only news in the world going on, and you could have hit the fans/media hard with a great re-brand (ok Guardians whatever even if i dont like the name there are still REALLY nice graphics/color schemes/logos that COULD have been designed with that theme in mind) and you could have NAILED IT and used the post-all-star game down time to command attention for your franchise with what amounted to a 3-day Bully Pulpit to pimp your brand and generate a MASSIVE revenue stream
the Indians do a LOT of things right, from being competitive as a small market team to developing pitchers to investing in their minor league systems AND players to outsourcing more FO people than anyone in the game...but they botched this...even if i give them a pass on the name (which i kind of do, i just don't like it but it could be worse) they botched the announcement and the rebrand...that goofy Wing C should have never seen the light of day, this should have moved WAAAAY beyond concept and into directional excitement by this point in time

You only get an opportunity like this once in a hundred years. I think the Indians blew it. Oh and by the way, the Dodgers still suck. . they will get another chance in a few years when they move, seems like a half-hearted re-brand at best and maybe that is why
