This will be the 4th straight meeting between these 2 schools, with Sandusky winning 2 of the previous 3 including a 27-16 win last year.

Piratefan, Thank god you didn't use your Howard Cosell voice or even your own. The glass company didn't order enough glass for everybody up there.

Toughest game of the year for Huron. Don't count out the Tigers.

Dump, the tigers have improved a good deal from last year but right now I think they are out man in this one. Sandtown just has to much speed for Huron to handle. Sorry about busting your balloon but sometimes the truth hurts.

Don't sleep on Huron, but this isn't Huron from a few years ago either. They seem to be in a bit of a rebuilding the legacy vs the reloading every year. Sandusky will be tough for anyone this year.

Everyone's expecting Sandusky to bury Huron, But sometimes strange things do happen inside of Kalahari Field. I'm not believing the Tigers will win, but I think it'll be a lot closer than people think. After being at the Perkins/Huron game, and watching it half dozen times on BCSN, Huron kids were in much better condition in the 4th qtr., than the Pirates. Plus out coaching Zeigler was the other key. The Tigers conditioning program has highly improved, since last year. The Streaks have too many more weapons than we do. Is gonna be interesting.

Sandusky is far and away the best team in the area. They shouldn't lose a game. But if they do, this will be it. Mark my words. Tigers are on a mission. A few turnovers by Sandusky and this could be a close ball game.
GO Tigers

Clyde, Bellevue and Fremont Ross are the only teams I see being able to upset Sandusky. Anyways good luck to David.

Easy win for Sandusky. I'm guessing at least four TD's. Running clock second half over early.

I'm not a coach myself, and I could never be. That being said, I think that, with Quisno two years gone now, many people will learn that out-coaching Ziegler is not the great feat they may have thought it was. Quis was the mind and the great motivator.

0-0 after 1, 7-0 Sandusky at the half,28-7 after 3, 35-13 final. Kinda surprised that the Streaks aren't better than they were promoted to be. Huron did have too many fumbles, but that didn't matter. Just too many more talented kids than Huron has. Too much boo hooing by the Huron faithful over the penalties on the Tigers. As a Huron supporter, I thought the officiating was surprisingly good tonight, Even with the calls against us.

In an earlier post you said you'd think it'd be closer than a lot expected. Most said 3 TD's. give credit where it's do

Too much boo hooing by the Huron faithful............. If you disregard the student section and the band, the "Huron faithful" are only about 50 people! Is football now a forgotten sport in Huron?

As a Huron Fan, our crowd is typically smaller and fairly quiet for the most part, but most High School programs appear this way anymore. Back to the game, Huron killed themselves with Turnover, and Sandusky took advantage of everyone of them. They have the full package, large line, quick backs and receivers, tough speedy defense. They played an error free game for the most part. The wind coming out of the east was a major factor for both teams throwing game last night. Huron doesn't turn it over, they most likely still lose, but a little closer game maybe. But again, Sandusky is the real deal and should do well for the remainder of the season. Good luck to both teams. Go Tigers.

Forgot to mention..........props to the Tiger team. They gave Sandusky a really good game for most of the first 3 quarters. Tigers stepped up to a big challenge, and did themselves proud.
Also noticed that #3 Critelli, didn't play much on offense the second half. Did he get hurt? Only noticed him in a few times on defense, most of the time he was standing on the sidelines with his helmet off.

I wondered the same thing about Number 3, but number 1 did have a nice run in his place. If it was a head injury he would have been done for the night, but he still played some defense. I noticed several starters getting rest in the 3rd though, may just trying to get some kids more playing time.

I thought Huron played a great 1st half and turnovers were big. Sandusky had too much speed and that impacted Huron's defense in the second half. I am curious to see how Sandusky does at Fremont next week. Keep in mind that Sandusky will get back one of its best all around players back for the game. He was suspended for the first two games. He will be huge on offense and defense. However, Fremont is 2-0 but I have heard didn't look that good in scrimmages but that doesn't mean much.

^They are playing very good defense for a change. Not surprised given Chad Long is a defensive guy. They held SV to 51 yards total offense yesterday.
