I watched your link. Thanks, that's pretty cool. It would be nice to watch all games on YouTube. BUT...I also watched the players shaking hands prior to #12's cheap shot. Now, I'm no expert on race relations, but if I was called a derogatory name (n-word), would I shake hands with the opponent who called me the derogatory name?
I played for Harding from 80-83. My black teammates were called everything from N-word to SOB. I was called everything from cracker to homeboy to faggot. Yet, me and my teammates laughed in their faces and tried to hit them harder the next play. After the game we shook hands and wished their Mothers well. I know it's different now than it was 35 years ago, but I just can't see a football player crying because he was called a derogatory name. Maybe they're a little softer now, I don't know. It's not right and I don't condone it, but is it being blown out of proportion?

It will be a conference game they won't have a choice. Right. NU remains in the MOAC one more year for football only. New league wasn't ready to add them to the football schedule. That also backs up Shelby, as the MOAC won't let them join for football next year. I think Shelby is actually forced to play an independent football schedule next year because their old league won't allow them to stay in for football only. I suppose Mama is correct, though. They won't have to GO to Marion any more, as next year's game should be at NU. The MOAC should do the same to the NU runners. Not allow them to win the League Title in football and no players eligible for All League honors. Players using, coaches condoning and parents blind to such an ugly ignorant word on a sports field. Good riddance!

I watched the clip a handful of times. Looks to me like NU#12's push happened before the whistle and the MH player's push back happened before the whistle. There must be an unwritten rule that when the QB is taking a knee, all other players should stop trying?
Maybe a little overreaction here?

You simply don't bulrush and deliver a push to the upper body like that on a knee, was it worth sitting next game? We'll see.

Thing is if the score is with in 8 points the refs will tell the offensive kids that he isn't protected because a botched snap could alter the game. Thus the reason NU was still attacking the ball. Not a call I would make but it is allowed, some people would call a coach and team out as quitting if they didn't.
Now the fact that 12 never once took a step towards the ball carrier, I would say it is a personal foul it would fall under unnecessary roughness imo.

I honestly think people blew it out of proportion honestly i mean yea #12 should have something said to him for the cheap hit but the other things people have to understand are going to happen... like Blazer said to me i would have used the crap as fuel to knock their socks off or play harder but thats just the way this generation is now everyone wants to be offended and protest something instead of fighting it or making it right... do you think they would have kept doing it if Harding just ignored them or played along with it... you dont fuel the problem it just causes a forest fire... NU is going to be NU as long as people give them the attention they are going to continue to do it... or wear confederate flags.... let it go...

#12 is Wes cope, a real instegator. But 2 personal fouls equals removal from the game. Is it any suspension for following game? seems like they have one hot head kid like that every year wasn't their a kid last year that had 2 personal fouls too #34 i think? i dont know what they teach there but it seems they are very undisciplined when it comes to anger and aggression...
