I heard on the radio that 5 of the 10 single night highest rated shows in 2017 were NFL games.

Not a cheerleader for the NFL and I have a low esteem and respect for Roger Goodell and his cronies in charge. Kudos to the Eagles and Patriots management for putting a team on the field that steers clear of political ideology. Had there been one single player take a knee, the channel gets flipped to the Andy Griffith marathon, or anything else.
Great game start to finish. I think, had the double reverse pass back to the QB been on target and successful, that would have been a huge factor in the outcome of this one, a game changer.
Both offensive and defensive coordinators coached their final game for the Patriots.

Picabo, You have that right. Peoples interest is always changing, there are some who at one time always watch NFL games no matter you is playing but now they have lost interest in professional football and are watching something else. I was that way but now I just want to watch my Steelers play. I have been losing interest in professional sports, except baseball, for awhile now so I'm watching more and more college games and going to a lot of high school games. I have never, ever like pro wrestling so or soccer so when they are on I either switch channels or just turn the idiot tube off and read a book. Pro basketball I stop watching that in the late 70's when they just started letting certain players to get away with not following the rules, like traveling, blocking, and hacking. It seems when you come up to the pro's forget the rules. Maybe that is one reason I like baseball, very few rules and ones they do have are very simple.
