Lots of changes and questions this year for the 3 time defending Eastern Conference Champs.
The regular season begins a week from tonight at home against Kyrie and the Celtics

I really don't understand sweathog's line of thinking here, but everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion.
As for the Cavs, it will be interesting to see how quickly and well this team gels. There is a lot of talent on the team, albeit some aging players.
As bighoss said, the path through the Eastern Conference should be much easier with the horrible injury to Gordon Hayward tonight. Absolutely horrible to watch and you have to feel for him.
Still don't believe they can match the talent and electricity of the Warriors. But I think the depth gives the Cavs a little more help come the spring.

They can pack there bags and get out of this awful county and take the left fools with you!! LaDouche ran a small campaign for Hillary and we now see how that is all playing out. Crooked Hillary was behind the entire false Russia narrative against Trump. LeDouche is a douche.

As predicted, this team is old and in no way will have the lasting power to make it to the finals without half the team being hurt. I know its still considered early but this team looks old as hell.

The Cavs have started to play better over the last 2 weeks (7-3 in the last 10 games). There is still hope for the 2017-18 season (especially since we are in the East)!

Rose contemplating retirement?

I don't see him leaving $80 million of Adidas money on the table. That's what he'll lose by retiring.

Rose contemplating retirement? It's a good thing we found Jose Calderon with all these PG injuries. He's been a real help.

Not sure if sarcastic^ but he’s playing well. The bench is playing great. Can’t wajt to see what this team can be 100% healthy. IT will be back within days. Lebron is still lebron. Cavs rolling at the moment.

I don't think cbus was being sarcastic,Calderon has certainly held his own recently.Far from All Star but he has been adequate starter filling in for IT during his rehab. Listening and reading up on some of his recent interviews I think he knows his minuets will be slashed completely when Thomas returns and it sounds like he'll be a good pro and be ready at the end of the bench until his number is called.Just what a team like this needs. Unlike what I think DRose's attitude might be should he ever return.

DRose has been done for a few years. Not sure what the appeal there is. And he has pulled this dip stunt before. History is a vast early warning system.

Yeah wasn’t sure, my apologies. If d rose mind is right he needs to return to the team. Taking a break like he has is just weird. He can still drop 20 points any given night and still explosive to the hoop. Hope he straightens up. Once IT Is back within a couple weeks they will have to choose between d rose and Jose.

Tough stretch for the Cavs coming up. We'll see if this depleted lineup can hang with some of the better teams on the road. I heard they have had the easiest schedule in the NBA so far this year.

Cavs win a title if they have Wiggins their first match-up with GS.

You can't prove they're better with Love. A) they won a title B) Wiggins never been selected to an All-Star game. He won’t this year. Love made his first in year 4 C) Wiggins never been selected All-NBA. He won’t this year. Love made his first all-NBA in year 5. Likelihood of Wiggins making all NBA isn’t high Love>Wiggins

I don't think anyone is disputing that, but I can't speak for everyone. However, will you be able to say the same thing in 2 years? 3 years? 4 years? Wiggins is having a down year for sure, but I think both him and Jimmy Butler haven't figured out how to play together yet. I think most alarming for him is, he seems to lack the 'mamba mentality' that will transform an elite athlete into an elite player. He doesn't seem to have that attack mentality. I think that's where he could have benefited from playing for the Cavs, hiding under Lebrons shadow all these years. Nonetheless, he put up 23.6 ppg as a 21 year old. I'm not going to write him off. If Lebron were to bolt this summer, I'd much rather have a 23 year old Wiggins to build around than a 30 year old Kevin Love. There was once a time when, even if Lebron did leave Cleveland again, CLE would have been set up for years with Kyrie and Wiggins. Kyrie and Wiggins>>>>30 year old Kevin Love
