the main reason given that they didnt practice much was because of the age of the players. With all the new younger players I would hope that will change I thought the main reason was LeBron likes to save all his energy for games. That hasn't changed. because he’s old

He couldn't come from better stock. There wasn't a better man to ever play in the NBA than his father. Another Pro athlete who played in Cleveland, that loved it and stayed.

Larry Jr also gets to play with arguably the best in the world, his half brother, LeBron. I mean look at Sr's pictures and tell me he and LBJ don't have a striking resemblance.

Not sure if any of you guys are on rivals.com or not. A long post was made by a poster who is best friends with a Front office guy, possibly Mike Gansey. Synopisis 1-Dwade was not all in as a Cav, His heart was still in Miami. He too along with IT were not friends of Kevin Love and did some finger pointing. This caused a lot of tension in the locker room. Moving him was a necessity. His early season insistence on starting really hurt JR Smith. JR is just now finally getting his confidence back. 2-Shump has lost the fire for being in CLE and possibly even basketball. He needed outta here as well. 3-Jae Crowder lost his mother the same day he was traded. Been in a funk ever since. His heart was not in CLE for various reasons. Really liked being Boston and playing for Brad Stevens. He needed to go as we were not getting his best effort. 4- D Rose was playing well until he hurt his ankle early on. The multiple injuries have taken their toll on his body. Good attitude, but just didn't have the speed to be what he once was. 5-Channing Frye was the best and only piece that the brass hated to give up as far as helping the Cavs. He was a great locker room influence and had been playing well. They hated to give him up but obviously had to give up something. 6- IT. Was not healthy. Said and did all the right things right up to the time he started playing in games. Once he started playing the team changed and not for the better. Was at the epicenter of the team meeting hate fest on Kevin Love. Needed gone ASAP. 7--Trades take time and numerous conversations. Was in the works for a couple weeks. If anyone wants the entire post from this guy let me know. It was a great read with a ton of info and double what I just posted. I can email it. Thanks for posting. From what I've read other places, I'm thinking its all pretty accurate. Its kinda sad really...these professional athletes pouting, while they make more in one year than most of us make in a lifetime. Everyone faces adversity and I understand some players not being happy in Cleveland. But they shouldn't let it affect their job, which is playing basketball at a high level. There are way too many head cases in pro sports. That said, I think DWade was a real pro on the court. He played strong defense, took charges and banged for rebounds. He did the dirty work that wins ball games even though his legacy is assured and he wasn't real happy here. That's a pro. Him and Channing Frye I'll miss. The rest I won't. Not sure why the hate for KLove. Maybe he's a DH. Or maybe he's too pretty and the brothers thinks he's overrated ala Larry Bird. cause he's white duh, why else would you go at the kid who stopped Steph Curry TWICE when it mattered most

Larry Nance,,,what an unsung hero this guy is gonna be. I get tired just watching this kid bust his behind. He alone may keep Lebron in CLE,,that's being facetious LOL,,,,
What a change for the better after these trades. Totally different team. It's like watching a college team play that is hustling all over the court. Playing defense, contesting shots, taking charges, supporting their team mates from the bench---LBJ looks like he is really dialed in and is loving it. Once we get Klove back it just makes the Cavs that much deeper. Suddenly being in the Finals looks very attainable and with this style of play,,,way different. It will be interesting to see us play at home,,,,but I have a feeling we'll be that much tougher as well. Hats off to Koby Altman and Mike Gansey.

Too bad the Cavs can't play just on the road where they've had more success. Playing at home is a disaster for them. Why is this?

I don't know but, too many times the starters fall behind big in the 1st quarter. It's getting annoying. I'm also curious what the rotation will be in the playoffs when the bench shrinks.

Cavs being able to win with a number of guys hurt sick or whatever reason,,Korver, Hood, Nance, Thompson, Osman,,guys that will help in the playoffs,,,,shows quite a bit I think. Getting Klove back and him being able to contribute almost with out missing a beat is sure nice to see. We haven't really seen the "new and improved Cavs in 2018" yet on full display. I think back to the road games at Boston and at OKC right after the big trade and gives a small sense of where they are. Klove was not in either game and they were both games where the Cavs controlled the game pretty well,,Boston game clearly more impressive of the two, adding Klove to that full complement of players and I think we have ourselves a Finalist team. At this point, that has to be the short term goal. Significant unknown still at this point of who the other team will be.

It's so much better when the Cavs are on TBS or ESPN or ABC. They should try to find someone better than Carr for next year. I kind of like Fred.

He is sooo bad it's comical at times. I watch 90% of Cavs games and he's gotten on my last nerve. I'd replace him with Jim Chones who does a decent job on the radio with Scott Michael.

Hell see if Nance Sr is available. You know he's watching the games anyway to watch his son play.

He is sooo bad it's comical at times. l. lol, that’s why I like him. Same with Bill Walton. You never know what stupid thing is coming next. Both of them start talking before they even know what they’re gonna say.

Both of them start talking before they even know what they’re gonna say. I think we all know what Carr is going to say before he says it. Don't let your man drive to the basket, pass the ball, don't give this team any hope or it will be a long night, etc, etc. I am now muting the Cavs announcers and listening to music during games.
