According to Joe Eitel (unofficial) this morning, Sandusky will finish #4 with Clyde #5. Sandusky has locked up a first round home game. When do tickets go on sale???

Brutal region. Anything is possible but as soon as a team features 1-2 elite athletes, Sandusky will be stymied.

Sandusky has three elite athletes who are great players. If they play a team that can come close to matching (or hanging with) those three's athleticism they will be soundly defeated. Lexington last year was a good example. They have had a nice year but with that talent, they could be a force to be reckoned with if they had other components to compliment those players. I do not think there is any way that they could beat TCC. It was one game but look at the common opponent (Fremont). Fremont had players to match Sandusky's studs. Anything is possible though, as we saw with Clyde vs TCC a few years ago.

Quick question - what does Larry Cook think of Coach Franklin?

Glenville-TCC matchup is intriguing AMEN. Glenville has tremendous speed. TCC is really struggling offensively however their defense might be the best in D3. Anxious to see this one!

This game could go either way.... both Teams play hard ...Clyde’s turnovers hurt them the first game ...

Drew Pasteur has Sandusky (10-0 D3 R10) by 10 (74%) vs Clyde (8-2 D3 R10)

Onside kick, Reverse, Statue of liberty, Hook & Ladder, Flea Flicker, Double pass, pick one or two or three. Sandusky's "D" is too fast for Clyde otherwise.

How about a favorite of Bellevue's in the 90s? The Fumblerooskie? Actually, I'm not sure it's legal to run that play, haha

I think coach long will have another great defensive game plan to shut down that offense. Fliers with the tight win. 17-14

Penalties hurting sandusky. Alexander hurt

I would say I called it after the first matchup saying Clyde could or would win the Rematch. With Alexander hurt, that hurts their offense a lot, but Clyde is just pounding them, no excuses please.

You really think the outcome would be the exact same with Alexander on the field? Losing, most likely, the Lake POY isn't going to hurt your team?

First question would be.... when did he go out? Second question would be, they have other playmakers than just him... can they not make plays?? Third question would be they allowed Clyde to score 35, and then put up a goose egg last update I saw. I would say even with Alexander, Clyde would have pulled this one out.
I get that the POY and MSU bound athlete plays a huge role in your offense, but I look at that as bad coaching not planning for a possibility like that.
I think the first game between the two made people believe Clyde wasn’t in Sandusky’s league. We were wrong.
I said the more talented team last time won. Looks like the better coached and overall bettter team won this one.

My take for what it's worth. Sandusky got out coached yes, losing Alexander didn't allow them to score 35. Maybe when sandusky was blowing teams out, Franklin should have got his backup qb more reps instead of chasing numbers. Clyde deserved to win, sandusky had numerous bone headed penalties and some calls that were awful but Clyde wanted it more. Unfortunately there season ends next week.

35-0 final. Not sure what the total yards for each team was but Sandusky didn't even sniff the red zone let alone the end zone. This game was complete domination by the fliers.

Question...........what was the penalty called when Clyde attempted that missed field goal? They kicked the ball from about the 32 or so, and the ref standing UNDER the goal posts is the one who threw the flag. How could he even see anything of the play from way back there? Just curious.

When did Alexander go out???
Streaknation, great point you can have the best Q.B in the country but if your back-up isn’t worth a buffalo nickel, you could be in trouble if he’s needed.
