Any thoughts on where St. Mary's and Shelby may play....Marion? Maybe Ohio Wesleyan? Or Ohio Northern? Harding is also a possibility with the turf, but quite a bit closer to Shelby than St. Marys.

If it's Findlay everybody better get there early cause there is a parking problem and it's first come first serve. It is a beautiful stadium but parking is all out in the street. Go Whippets from an old N.O.L er.

I see that Brennan Armstrong reopened his recruitment this week. Strong chance he still ends up at Minnesota, but interesting nonetheless. Sounds like the rumor mill has Fleck as a candidate for a better gig thus his interest in looking at all options. The door is cracked open...I think a nice run may also ramp up some coaches seeking to flip him. Not sure there will be a better offer in the BIG. He's not an top-tier player (OSU, MSU, PSU, UM) but possibly Wisconsin?

From Richland Source after last nights game... FORGET OHIO STATE: Armstrong confirmed after the game Ohio State reached out to him this week when the Buckeyes' projected quarterback recruit from Georgia appeared to waiver on his commitment.
But Armstrong said he isn't interested in OSU.
"Coach (Ryan) Day contacted me this week. Their verbal, Emory Jones, started traveling. He didn't decommit, but they reached out. I'm not going to Ohio State. I'm not anybody's Plan B."
Jones is waffling between Ohio State and Alabama. Armstrong is amonig a number of QB recruits the Buckeyes contacted while trying to fill out their 2018 class, but the Shelby senior said he's firm in his commitment to Minnesota and coach P.J. Fleck.

He’s also had strong interest in Iowa State, following Matt Campbell from Toledo - who offered him, Rutgers (Chris Ash), Virginia, North Carolina & Cincinnati (although he’s stated wanting to play in a top-tier conference). I think both Campbell & Fleck will continue to be mentioned for bigger gigs, which could impact his decision. His play against the bigger boys down the road this month could garner some more eyeballs & offers. He’s also a D1 talent on defense, which is often not mentioned. Some of his hits/TFL last night were ridiculous!

Probably the best all-around game I’ve seen him play. His QB abilities are well known, but those defensive stops last night were impressive Best of luck wherever he goes, but still have unfinished business on Friday nights
