3:30 ESPN
This will be OSU's first game against Iowa since 2013 (W 34-24) and first game at Iowa since 2010 (W 20-17), which are the last 2 times these teams have played. Ohio State leads the all time series 47-14-3

Ohio State a 17 point favorite. Too high, too low, just about right?

I just checked Vegas odds, has Ohio State -10 I think the Buckeyes cover the spread, even if it was -17.

This could easily be one of those "trip up" games....decent opponent, on tge road after a huge win....but think urban will have them ready.

I believe you, when you say -10 is not accurate, maybe I'm reading it wrong. (I'm going to pull it up and re-check it) Thanks for calling me on it. This is what I got, from the booking agents you have listed above, and most have opening lines of -15 to -18, but currently -10 11/04 3:30 PM 335 Ohio State 336 Iowa -15½ -10 52u-10 -17½ -10 52½u-10 -17½ -10 52u-10 -18 -10 52½u-10 -17½ -10 52u-10 -17½ -10 -18 -10 52u-10 -17½ -10 52u-10 -18 -07 52½o-13

Sportsjock, the tens you see are the juice...indicating that you have to bet $110 to win $100. Bet tOSU at minus 18 or Bet Iowa at plus 18 or Bet over 52 or Bet under 52 Each of these is bet $110 to win $100 because the juice is $10.
edit-Basically the sportsbooks are saying the final score will be 35-17 Buckeyes.

yeah gotta remember the juice, that's where the books make their money
i had a book tell me once that in a perfect world every bet he covered would fall 50/50 and he would just make his income off what folks like me paid him to set the bet up...because the reality is you're not betting against the book, you are betting against someone else on the other side and the book is the intermediary, you pay him to set the bet up and make sure it gets covered

Very interesting and informative. I've never made any bets with an actual booky and certainly not Vegas, on sporting events outside of betting on the ponies at the track. Years ago I used to play a football ticket with a local friend and did quite well. I think he relied on and appreciated the winners tips.

Even if Ohio State comes back and wins this game and the rest of their games, they don't deserve to be in the 4 Game Playoff. They ARE NOT one of the 4 best TEAMS in the country. They aren't a Top 25 team, neither is Penn State.
The most embarrassing loss in Ohio State History.
Penn State game wasn't a good win, they're a bad team
Ohio State has one of the worst defenses in the country.
Ohio State set a new record for most dropped passes in a game.
Once down by 3 TDs they should have just run the ball and punted, instead of making the embarrassment even worse.
What this team IS good at is fooling their coaches. ALL of them said the players all practiced and prepared like they were ready for this game.

JT in the 2nd half, 3 & out, 3 & out, 3 & out, and about to do another 3 & out.
Another blowout loss to his resume where he stunk

The JT we were afraid might show up vs Penn State last week showed up this week. Urban's Golden boy. Every other player gets benched, not Golden Boy.

I figured people would still be bashing Barrett only. The whole team deserves to be bashed. This is a team issue, going back to a 31-0 beatdown by Clemson, Oklahoma this year, Penn State last week, and now today. Lots of issues that need to be fixed.

JT put OSU in a 7-0 hole all by himself. JT has thrown 4 INTs, his INT's took points off the board for OSU and put points on the board for Iowa Iowa played a defense to stop the run and jump the short mid range passes leaving the deep ball wide open. JT threw a couple deep for easy TD's, but he has a noodle arm and missed on other easy TD passes and was too scared to throw it on others. OSU could have easily had 63 points today with a big arm QB since Iowa is giving OSU the deep ball if OSU wants to take it. JT won't take it because he's a noodle arm QB.

Barret played horrible today but did you see our defense gettin torched? Our d-line got no pressure on the QB, the lb's looked slow as hell, and our secondary wasn't covering anyone. Bigger issues than just JT. Like I said last week, this is a coaching issue too.

He threw 4 interceptions today. He over threw several wide open guys today. He under threw a wide open TD. This one is on JT first because he played horrible. Our D was on the field more than the O and played poopy too. Bye bye JT. You wont be missed.

He was terrible, like I said. 45-17 isn't all on the qb. This is the whole team and coaching staff. Two weeks in a row they haven't been ready.

JT blown out in yet another game. Cardale never lost.

We all know JT likes drinking, Cardale had to rescue him from jail in 2015. What do you think JT did after the Penn State game. Captain Barrett
