Surprised to see St. Paul sitting at 2-3 after 5 games after dropping a game to New London on Friday which they led by 6 with just over 2 minutes to play. To much talent and height not to be better.

Good to see the league scheduling some tough opponents in the non conf.
New London has been the surprise so far starting 0-3 and now 3-0 since beating SC and SP are big wins for them.
St Paul vs Western this Friday is the biggest game of the week. Will be big win for either team

New London starting 3-1 in conference play is not surprising, because Coach Howell always gets the max out of his talent. He may be the best coach in the conference.

From here on out, if no more cancellations, it is going to be a down and dirty dog fight between Western, New London, South Central, and St. Paul's for that crown. Any one of those schools can and will beat each other any given night. And the bottom four don't count either of them out of a game. Even Monroeville is going to surprise somebody on a few nights.

Some where this blessed computer ate my comment on here so I have to rewrite it over again if I can remember what I wrote. Anyway I see an old fashion down and dirty, tooth and nail, knockout fight the rest of the way here between Western, New London, South Central, and St. Paul for the crown with the other four giving their say on who get's the title. And yes that includes Monroeville getting in a few licks of their own. I see somewhere out of the blue, my computer must of belch it back up on my first comment. It must of not liked what I wrote.

St Paul has been disappointing so far. Need to get it going. People have got into coach Smith’s head about playing freshman over upperclassmen it appears.

People have got into coach Smith’s head about playing freshman over upperclassmen it appears. bighoss, I know smitty and he doesn't give two buckets full of crap on what people say, if a freshman is better than a senior who's been a starter for the last 3 years he will start that freshman anytime over that senior or anybody else. Smitty will do what is best for the team not what some parents say because little Tommy isn't the star player anymore. To me that's the way it should be and parents should keep their damn noses out of it.

Monroeville gets off to a respectable Q1, then fall flat @ home vs. Plymouth. 62-44. Messy game all around.

Plymouth played St Pete last night and kept it close for most of the game which was a little surprise. St Pete pulled away at the end but good for plymouth for playing them tough. St Paul beat St Joe by 13 and Mville got beat by Lakota.
Friday night its Crestview @ Mville -could be interesting but think Crestview should pull it off New London @ Plymouth - This one might end up closer than it should, Adams kid from plymouth is a good player and if he gets hot watch out St Paul @ Mapleton- St Paul should win this one Western @ SC- Game of the week and the winner will gain alot of confidence going forward

Well none of those games got to be played but the NL Plymouth game was played last night and to some suprise Plymouth beat NL. Not sure if the snow days caught up to NL or they overlooked them but congrats to plymouth on a big conf. win.
Rankings as of now
Western Reserve 7-3 (5-0) South Central 6-4 (4-1) New London 4-5 (4-2) Plymouth 5-5 (2-2) St Paul 3-4 (2-2) Crestview 1-7 (1-3) Mapleton 1-8 (1-4) Monroeville 1-10 (0-5)
This week has St Paul @ Mapleton tonight- SP should be able to get the job done but might overlook the game Crestview vs Lucas tonight- Lucas will probably take this one
Thursday Crestview @ New London- NL just because Crestview is to inconsistent Mapleton @ Plymouth- Plymouth after a big win last night might get some momentum going Monroeville @ Western..... And game of the week is SC @ St Paul- St Paul is long and beat SC twice last year, SC seems to be playing a little better but this one should show
Sat- Will be the rematch of the first FC games Mapleton @ Crestview, Crestview won the first matchup easy but have lost 6 in a row SC @ Monroeville, SC won the first matchup big NL @ Western Sat Game to watch,This was a three point game the first time and should be another good one. Plymouth @ St Paul- These two didnt get to play because of football, The adams kid can go off at anytime and could give them a chance to keep it close

I don't remember the exact score, but the Western - M'ville score was a difference of about 60 pts. Most fairly officiated game I've ever watched in the gym @ Collins.

Sat 3 benches behind team, saw that. The principal was there, and told me that he's ill. I'm sure that's the truth, but in the back of mind I remember how J. Diebler was told to step away with only three games left that season.

One of the best games I have seen in a long long time. The hood kid from western was unreal hitting 3s from everywhere with people on him. Blair is unbelievable and SC has some really good other pieces to go with him. Cant wait for round 2
