Oak Harbor leads Huron, 61-49 with 3:00 left. Someone check on dump and make sure he’s ok. Quick someone give me the paddles, CPR isn't working on dump, I'll have to give electro shock on him.

Willard being Willard. I said not to sleep on Shelby. It's early, but Bellevue and Shelby could be the 2 best teams in the Lake. Vermillion and Oak Harbor in the Bay
Shelby should improve more than others as 3 key players played football. Could be the same for Bellevue, but I don't know how many of their players played football.

Final: Oak Harbor 67 Huron 61, Tigers had 6 weeks to get ready, longer than anyone else, Looked out of sync most of the game. Credit the Rockets for coming to play, And wanting it more. Surprisingly, Tigers looked like they ran out of gas in the 4th qtr. Was 16-13 Tigers after 1, 34-32 Huron at half, 46 all after 3. wait? oak harbor had less time? interesting.

Very disappointed in the Tigers. Hurst got no help. We knew he would come to play, unfortunately none of his teammates did. This loss Had to do with lack of heart. These guys just didn’t want to win. They lacked the toughness we have come accustomed to from Huron teams. Even the Oak Harbor coach said that, in different words of course. Hopefully this loss lights a fire under the jack wagons of these Tigers and they come back tonight and beat Perkins.
As always,
Go Tigers

As you guys can see, Angelo Frias is not in the Margaretta box. He also did not play against Edison on Friday. Coach Keller said that it was a mutual decision and that Frias is no longer apart of the Margaretta basketball team.

Let me be the first to say that wow port Clinton is not good. I know that may have been obvious to some already but did not expect to see Willard run them out of the gym tonight...

Port Clinton might be the worst team in the SBC. It’s amazing how far they’ve fallen since their state runner up finish in 2010.

Don't know why we are unable to close out games. Hopefully, this Friday we can do it more convincingly, Home Vs. Port Clinton. Saturday could be another loss, Home Vs. St. Paul.

Hey guys. Long time reader. I figured I would finally sign up and try to contribute.
My nephew plays at Margaretta and I have some other connections there too. He told me Frias was removed from team by coaches for off-court issues. I do know he failed a drug test last year but this must have been something other than that. I do not have specific details but props to them for “cleaning” things up with the basketball team.

Frias basically removed himself from the team, stop coming to practice and basically quit. Another area athlete with lots of potential but just didn't know how to control the outside distractions.

I took the weekend off from posting to go ice fishing with my uncle in the Upper Peninsula. I made friends with the locals and even ended up sleeping with the daughter of a local store keeper. The people up there are great.
Anyways, the Tigers get back in the win column with a nice road victory over Marg, who many of you predicted to win the Bay. Good to see Drew Wennes back in action, who will be a big contributor to this team. Both scoring and rebounding. It was nice to see the Tigers win a game without relying solely on Hurst. Bobby has his boys back on track.
That is too bad about Frias at Marg. While I know Keller is a good man, and a man of God, he seems to consistently not get the most out of his players, and drives some to the point of not even wanting to play. Did the same thing at Sandusky. Had loads of talent but the players didn't like him.
GO Tigers

Margaretta isn’t the same team as when you guys talked about winning the league. They lose two of their top four players which sets them back a few pegs. Even without, Huron only beat them by two scores. Vermilion is the team to beat in this division and then everyone else.

Huron led the whole game by double digits and ****** away a few buckets at the end. They are clearly the better team. I do agree Vermilion is the team to beat. Said that after I saw how they faired against Lorain. Huron matches up well with them, however. We will see. GO Tigers
