Clyde Frosh over PIB, 57-49. PIB has a great freshmen Blake Booker who scored a game high 31 points. He would be playing on a lot of JV teams in this area.

Thanks, was wondering what kind of numbers Put-in-Bay might have. WHat kind of schedule to they play, all against freshmen teams? We are one of the only local teams that play them. They fly our teams over to play them (our 6th grade also plays their 6-8 team). A couple years ago they had 10 kids on their HS team. Including a couple girls. The play small christian schools from all over and also Fly to a small Island School in northern Michigan.

That and the Ohio School for the blind, usually their only win. is that suppose to be funny? Not unless you think it is. They also have a track team, cross country team, wrestling team and a marching band that plays at the Ohio School for the Deaf's football games. One can be visually impaired, have very poor vision and be considered legally blind. The Ohio School for the Blind opened in 1837, making it the oldest School for the Blind in the country. As far as I can find out they no longer have a basketball team, but a couple of days ago I found a result for a game of theirs against Put In Bay from a few years ago. Did Put-In-Bay have any girls on their team? Some years they don't have enough girls and boys to field teams for both, so they have one team with a coed roster. BTW, every year Put-In-Bay plays Mackinaw Island in basketball. I bet they've had some exciting bus trips over the years. A 450 mile away game that also include 2 ferry trips each way, unless Lake Erie or the Straights are frozen over.

I wonder what percentage of their games involve either themselves or the other team flying, I would imagine it's pretty high.

PIB has two Booker brothers Jack(Jr) and Blake (FR) and they are very good, with Blake probably being one of the better freshmen in the area. He could play JV for most teams in the area and had 31 points. He plays for Northcoast Showtime AAU. Very nice kids and great family.

Friday Night, Clyde 41 Norwalk 30-Freshmen Norwalk 55 Clyde 43- JV
Saturday Night Clyde over Lexington in JV action 60-52. Clyde was down 13 in the first half I believe, played much better in the 2nd half. No Frosh game because of a wrestling tourney at Clyde.

It's a freshman game, not freshmen game. The team is singular, not plural. Freshmen play on a freshman team. If it was a team of sophomores, it would be a sophomore team, not a sophomores team.
