Man the Willard 8th grade looked good last night. Granted the competition wasn't that great, but they looked impressive. I think you guys are on to something with the thought being, press from the get go and push the ball up the floor in transition. Take advantage of the speed and athletic ability of probably 5-7 kids anyway on that team. At least at present, running offensive sets doesn't appear to be their strong suit.

They are a transition team and play their best when they are running and playing swarming defense. When they have the fast kids on the floor, they can run with anyone, from what I have saw. They need to learn how to push the ball out to the player up the floor better, best way to beat the defense up the floor is not let the ball touch the floor, transition passing.

Wasn’t Willard’s Frosh strong as well maybe the corner is being turned???

Margaretta 7th Grade 57- Clyde 15 Clyde 8th Grade 59- Margaretta 17
I don't think I've ever seen two lopsided scores like this before. Sometimes you will see a 20-25 point win either way but two 40 point games is something you don't see everyday. Margaretta 7th grade has a very nice group of kids.
