11-0 and ranked in the top 10 in the state. A quick comparison of their schedule from last year to this year, I noticed they dropped Lexington and picked up St Peter.

Senior beats Lex for the second time this year 60-52. Is this a surprise to you? Mansfield is in the top of the teams in the NCOAST area and when they play at home they can be even better. I saw the Northmor and Fredericktown game was PPD. Any date on when to make it up?

Does anyone know what year those 3 officials graduated from the blue and white? I'm kidding but they were not very good for the magnitude of that game. Just my opinion.

That I fully agree with. Bunch of us watching the game and laughing at some of the calls. How bout the one in second half when the ref watches ball bounce off the player and makes no call tho he's 10 feet away and watching it. The ref on the other side of the court makes the call. How many times the ref from 30 feet away make a call?! First time I saw Northwood and would have never guessed them to be undefeated. Any well coached team will knock them out of the tourney. Very poor game plan for the players on the floor. Not sure if the coaching or reffing was worse?

Willard, elaborate on that. A previously undefeated team...wouldn't one expect more? Well I did. Granted they played the Mansfield area all-stars but I expected more. That wasn't a 6'8" Jon Diebler throwing up bricks.

At this point in the season any undefeated team will be getting some attention. Other than St Pete there may not be anyone on Northmor's schedule that should give them a challenge.

Looking at the roster and watching them warm-up you get the feeling this Northmor team is unstoppable. After watching a quarter or maybe a half you see how good this team can be but wonder if they will get there. I hope they do, it's exciting for the area.

From OHSAA website about honors to be handed out at this years state finals. "In addition, the OHSAA will recognize the boys basketball teams from Fort Loramie (1993) and Marengo Highland (1998) for the anniversaries of their state championships and schools that have won the 2018 Golden Megaphone Award, which recognizes positive spirit from student cheering sections at basketball games, while special awards will also be presented by the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association.

Anyone know the circumstances around the Mount Gilead job opening up? I was told that he chose to retire. Too big of a time commitment and he wanted to spend time with family. He's recommended that one of his assistants take over.

Do you mean "Always a good reason to retire"? When you say "Always a good reason to use", you're saying he's being untruthful. Just another of your snide insults.

Any deadline on naming the replacement? The deadline for application is March 31. So we still have a few weeks before there's an announcement.

He's recommended that one of his assistants take over. Is Coach Cooper using the "family "reason to try and get his assistant the job?
