Here's the annual confidence points NFL playoff pick'em. This is separate from the NFL pick'em that cbus ran.
Past Champions:
2017 - tigeralum01
2016 - cbus
2015 - BellevueBuckeye
2014 - BellevueBuckeye
2013 - theAteam
2012 - RedRage2014
2011 - DrTorch
Rules:
- In each playoff round you have a set number of confidence points to spread across the games that week. For each correct pick you receive the number of confidence points you placed on that game. Incorrect picks are worth nothing.
- There will be 12 confidence points in both the Wild Card and Divisional rounds, 6 confidence points in the Conference Championship round, and the Super Bowl is worth 3 points
- You must put at least one point on each game (making 9-1-1-1 the most lopsided possibility)
- the tiebreaker for the title will be closest guess to the total points scored in the Super Bowl
- picks must be made by the kickoff of the first game each week
...and 2 more rules that hopefully won't come into play, but just in case:
- if you make picks without assigning points, each correct pick is worth 1 point (unless you have a perfect week, in which case you'll receive the maximum number of points for that week)
- if your assigned points add up to more than the maximum allowed that week, the difference will be deducted from your highest correct pick
Wild Card Round Games (12 confidence points):
Tennessee @ Kansas City
Atlanta @ Los Angeles
Buffalo @ Jacksonville
Carolina @ New Orleans
(Note: please use this thread for posting picks only. Use the NFL playoffs thread for any talk about the games)
