I respect your response, but I'm just gonna let it go. Norwalk made their decision to non-renew and they're going through the process of hiring a new guy (plus we're talking football on the basketball forum). I hope the new coach can step in and do a good job.

Thought I do not live in Norwalk Ohio any more. I can't follow my alma mater like I used to. I do follow Norwalk Truckers my alma mater by on the net, radio, and by friends. I am very appalled outraged on the recent Norwalk High School board recent happenings. The recent ousting of the long time football coach Coach Mac. And now the allegations of current boys basketball Coach Steve Gray. These two people Coach Mac and Coach Gray not only do these two teach their individual sports but they also teach prepare student athletes/students for life beyond school..Just because these Coaches people have not had recent success in their sports does not call for oustings and or bad claims..Where were all the ousting talk and or claims when the sports teams that these two individuals had successful seasons

The only thing that I disagree with them and I know they don't make the schedule and I also understand why Mac wanted a soft schedule so the kids could get the feel of winning in them, and it worked, but both Mac and Gray should be telling the AD that we need to start beefing our schedule up so we can be better prepare for our conference and also get some valuable points to get in the playoffs for football and be ready to play the big teams in basketball come tourney time. Both coaches had problems with injuries the last couple of years and that is part of the game. Also I know Mac has been criticize on play calling and that's true, I have done that myself but I know, since I use to coach myself, it is always easy to second guess what you called.

True but all Coaches get criticised for what ever desitions. I agree on the beafing up schedule to get ready for bigger competition.

Hard to believe this matter made it to the board. However if Norwalk can beat Shelby @ Shelby (big if) they will play Sandusky at home for all the Marbles... who’d of thunk it

Those of us who believe in Coach Gray and his coaching methods thunk it a possibility. Once Harraway found a balance between being a facilitator and a scorer when needed.

Norwalk was ahead with about 30 seconds left in the game when Shelby pulled ahead of us and beat us by 2 points. Norwalk came to life in the second half and at one time was ahead by 5 points. It is very hard to beat Shelby in their own place but Norwalk almost did it and could have won but it just wasn't meant to be at least not tonight. Norwalk should be very proud of the boys and the coaching staff tonight. They gave it their all and left it out there on the court and these next 3 games are going to be very interesting in particularly that last game at Sandusky. Go out and win those next 3 games guys.

Was it a clean block at the end or did the officials "let 'em play" in the end game?

It was clean block. Norwalk got the look they wanted...haraway go to the rim...shelby kid made a very nice defensive play.
