According to Max Prep. schedule strength for some of the Madison D2 teams Clear Fork -1.7 Ontario -.3 Galion 1.0 Vermilion 1.2 Sandusky 2.8 Shelby 3.0 Bellevue 3.1 Clyde 3.6 Perkins 3.7 Norwalk 4.2 Mansfield 6.9 That's only 11 of the 14 schools in the District. Why leave 3 out? Don't tell us you just forgot. ALL of the schools are listed at the top of the page. I know your sneaky reason.

There is some good info M10. Seeding could be very tight. Using your list order check out the team records inside the district.
Vermilion no losses and beat Port Clinton 2x = 2-0
Clear Fork Lost to Lexington and beat Galion = 1-1
Lexington lost to Clyde and Mansfield 2x and beat Clear Fork, Norwalk, Ontario, Shelby = 4-3
Sandusky lost to Bellevue, Shelby and beat Tiffin 2x, Clyde, Perkins, Norwalk, Bellevue, Shelby = 7-2
Clyde lost to Perkins, Norwalk 2x, Sandusky and beat Lexington, Shelby 2x, Bellevue, Perkins = 5-4
Mans Senior no losses and beat Lexington 2x, Ontario = 3-0
Ontario lost to Mansfield, Lexington and beat Norwalk, Galion = 2-2
Shelby lost to Clyde 2x, Lexington, Sandusky, Bellevue and beat Perkins, Sandusky, Norwalk, Tiffin = 4-5
Perkins lost to Sandusky, Shelby, Clyde, Norwalk and beat Clyde, Bellevue 2x, Norwalk, Tiffin, Port Clinton = 6-4
Bellevue lost to Perkins 2x, Clyde, Sandusky and beat Sandusky, Port Clinton, Shelby, Tiffin = 4-4
Norwalk lost to Ontario, Perkins, Lexington, Shelby, Sandusky and beat Tiffin 2x, Clyde, Perkins = 4-5
Galion lost to Clear Fork, Ontario and beat nobody = 0-2
Columbian lost to district team they played 0-7
Pt Clinton lost to every district team they played = 0-4

Nice work malabar, thanks. Based on the above, as of today. #1 Vermilion, #2 Sandusky, #3 Mansfield Senior, #4 Clyde.... JMO No way Clyde is as high as #4 IMO they are behind Norwalk in the Lake standings add to that Norwalk beat them twice just these facts alone say NO way in top 4. I know they beat Lex however it was @ Clyde in that tiny gym and as you've pointed out upsets happen...

I know Clyde is a slight stretch. They've had an up and down season, but have some wins over good teams. Maybe lost in a upset in a game or 2? Six teams having winning records against the teams in the District, one of them is Clyde. I don't think anyone wants to play them in the tournament. Things get a little murky after Vermilion and Sandusky. More so with Lexington's loss to Mt.Vernon this week and 3 of their wins coming against DIII schools. AND the OCC and SBC beating up on each other. However, 9 of the 14 schools are from the SBC. I'd have to guess Clyde would be favored over OCC and MOAC schools. JMO Don't tell me Norwalk is your #4

Wins, losses and scheduled teams from each division will be looked at also. The teams at the top all have losses to D1 teams which I assume will be looked at and Clyde has only played 1 D1 team. Vermilion, Sandusky, Mansfield, Lexington and Perkins have all played 3 or more D1 teams.

The info I gave was based on current record by % to date, and in no way reflects my thinking on what the seed rankings should be. Lot of important games between now and Feb 11 to try and settle the dust.

My top 6 would be as follows. 1. Vermillion -may fall to 3 have a bigg game with Sandusky coming up but I believe after the draw. 2. Mansfield -may go up to 1 3. Sandusky - may go to 2 4. Lexington. May go to 3 or fall to as low as 6. 5. Clear Fork - may have better record than a lot of teams listed by end of year. 6. Norwalk or Clyde
Don't sleep on Shelby, Perkins, Ontario or Bellevue either. 10- of the 14 teams have played well at times this year and there probably will be a few mild upsets this year. Should be a fun district.

Mansfield and Sandusky play at Sandusky on Feb 13th. Maybe a pre-cursor to district final? I think 11 teams have legitimate shot at district. But...... winner gets #1 Wauseon or Elida (Maybe) in regional.
Looking at the Max Preps strength of schedule rating, it appears that the conferences in the district are ranked:
1. OCC
2. SBC-Lake
3. SBC-Bay
4. MOAC

From what I have been hearing is Ruhlman will be out till the play-offs but if lucky he might be back 1 or 2 games before the play-offs.

I'm surprised to hear Ruhlman did not play. Norwalk wins by 13 and Ruhlman averages 20.

You realize that it's possibly only a 20 point swing if his back up didn't score at all right?

So he might get to play only one more game this season? The way Bellevue is dropping (especially without him) and surrounded by good teams in the tourney they'll be a low seed. It's nice to see a kid who can shoot as well as he does. Must not have been raised with an adjustable goal so he didn't spend his youth practicing his slam dunk!

I'm surprised to hear Ruhlman did not play. Norwalk wins by 13 and Ruhlman averages 20. You shouldn't be surprised, this is the 2nd time he sprained his ankle, its been talked about. A weaker than normal attempt at a put down. In this case of Norwalk.

Did I see Norwalk only beat PC by one last night? Talk about looking ahead. Steve can not be pleased.

So this coming weekend and the rest of the seasons games mean nothing to how a team is seeded come Sunday.

Since there are no games on Wednesday the Tuesday games would be the last results to consider for this District.
