So who are the the 3 teams being looked at? I would guess Dover and New Philly are 2 of them. So is Louisville the other or is Canton Central Catholic on the table or a package deal with Louisville? Too bad we can't entice a school like Cloverleaf to join the fray then you could have 2 6 team divisions.

Here is an early thought of how the OCC will shake out. 1. Lexington- Brings back nearly everybody from last year's state final 4 team. Including Stover. They have to replace personnel at the guard position. 2. Mansfield Sr.- Always very athletic and once again well coached. Plus Lex for some reason has a hard time beating them. The Tygers will miss BJ Patrick. 3. Mt. Vernon 3A. Wooster- I honestly don't know much about these teams but both are well coached and have quality kids that can play. 4. Madison- has to replace Jackson and Campbell. 5. West Holmes-May finish ahead of Madison. 6. Ashland- I just don't see the Arrows being very good. Thought they would be better last year. They look like they have some good kids but they appear to be weak at the guard position and didn't shoot the ball well.
Anyone else have any thoughts?

Last year this league had 5 of the 7 teams with 14 wins or more. It was very competitive and a exciting league to watch.

It will be an interesting year for Ashland. Last year was very bad, the good news is many of the kids that helped make that happen are gone. They still have a few really good basketball players, the question again will be can they be a good team. They have a few young guys that will be good including a freshman that many in Ashland are very high on.

Ashland has never been without talent. But I don’t remember Ashland ever winning basketball with one player.

Madison will be at the bottom of the league. I don’t see them winning very many games this year.

Madison will be at the bottom of the league. I don’t see them winning very many games this year. West Holmes has not looked good in the early goings and over the summer. When they fired their coach they had a few kids leave the district or decide not to play.

Thought they might score more than around 10 points in total.

"move-ins" are not contributing much, thus far. Mansfield is 4-1. Did you want the new kids to be putting up a double double? Mansfield is off to really good start. The move ins are are giving about 10 points and 5 rebounds whiles averaging 44 minutes per game. After next weekend every team will have played an OCC game some we can start to see where everyone starts to fall into place.

OH I thought they were EACH averaging 10-5, based on you proclaiming how they would BOTH be major contributors in football AND basketball. Just shows how "dumb" you are.

Special kinda stupid aren't ya. You think only points makes you a contributor. They are playing a lot on a team that is 5-1. Stop trying to put these kids down. They are doing a great job. Don't be a whiner because it is not for Ontario. I called it, they are doing it.

Joe, you're just average. I watched the Senior/Ashland game. As the Senior coach ignorantly calls them. One "move-in" had a typical game like last year, 4 points, 4 turnovers and 4 dumb fouls. The other "move-in" got 6 points in garbage time during the 4th quarter. No rebounds by either, Each might have gotten 1 steal. Neither's defense, like in the past, wasn't anything of note. Stats are stats. The only person being "put down" would be the average one, pointing out your foolish predictions. I'm wiser than the "average", I learned long ago that making predictions will usually just make one look less than average.

Two move ins started the game that I saw. The other one played minutes and did not build up the stats lines but definitely did not play bad. Don't waste time Joe.
