Yes kids definitly know much more than i care to know when it comes to electronics. Back on topic before we get yelled at. Do you know fillmore if houle is in class at ontario? Heard rumor he was not. Also heard rumor and i stress rumor that he may come back to cc now that we had our point guard leave. I believe his guardian still lives in cc district but not positive. I know he isnt in class at cc at present anyhow. Checked with Balogh, Houle is not enrolled at Ontario. We know he's not at Mansfield, not at CC, not at Wynford. I was told he left his grandparent guardians and moved to Toledo with his mother who has addiction problems. His father is dead. This will be his 4th school in the past 4 years. He needs our prayers. Prayers his way. Tough situation for the young man.

If this is true, out of their 8 man rotation from last season, Ontario loses Jones, Brooks, Harris and Houle. Still have Jacobs, Shaver, Mott and Coburn. My theory is the Kurtz kid will fill the starting lineup. But the loss of Harris and Houle really cuts into their depth. Houle's guard skills, length and scoring will be missed.

From what i saw this summer ontario will have a solid starting 5 but no depth off bench. Nite i watched them play houle was playing with them. Could be a down year for joe but i bet they still go above .500.

Any 6-7 kid is a loss, even if he wasn't a double figure scorer. Barnes was the 8th man as a Senior last year. Harris's has a terrible shot, but his defense and ball handling could have helped off the bench. He left when it became obvious to him he wouldn't be a starter this year. Houle showed his potential when he became eligible the 2nd half of the season, but Balogh said even if he was enrolled at Ontario he would have been WAY behind, as he never came to lifting, 7:00am shoot arounds and only about half of their open gyms. Not a theory, the JV Freshman 20ppg scorer will be the fifth starter. Look for a couple of Sophs to move up to varsity for depth.
Houle needs your prayers dude.

Cannot help answer this question with certainty. There was not a Barnes on the Ontario roster if that is what was being said but the old perfectionist may have meant Brooks but once again posted the wrong information.

Thanks for the correction, sometimes my fingers get ahead of my thoughts. I'm sorry if you were once again disillusioned by only my purposeful posting of wrong information. Should we revisit your harangues of "wrong information"? Which you had no answers for when caught. After which you were afraid to read my posts. Just hiding and waiting for others to quote them, enabling you to comment on them. LURKER!!

The better team doesn't always win Ed. If Black River was anything close to Highland they beat Ontario. Black River couldn't stay within 50 points of Highland.

Upsets happen and underdogs win all the time. I posted that Black River could be better than Highland.

According to Websters, " could" is a past tense of "can". So, you thank Black River CAN beat Highland this year?? Maybe a 1 out of a 100 upset.
If underdogs win "all the time", then favorites would rarely win. More "dumb info" from ohioraised.

He would have been a nice addition to CC with McCreary leaving.

Back to N-10 talk. Carey's Hayden Stone has offers from three D 1 schools? Heard this last week and was a little bit surprised. Anyone else hear about this and what schools. If so that would be the second big kid from Carey to go D1. The Dennis kid went to Michigan State a while back.

I heard OU expressed interest but that was rumor and I did not hear if they actually offered. Can't say who made offers. I also heard he had some D2 schools. Bottom line he is a 6'7"-8" with 2 years of high school left to play. Plus making a run to Regional may have helped.

Interesting indeed, hope the kid gets a few more looks if he has a good season this year.. Royalballdad has Crall gotten an interest from schools had heard him say he hopes to play ball in college last year. Interesting to see if any other kids from the N10 end up in colleges playing ball in the next couple years. Heard last weekend that Wes Vent from Upper was walking on at Tiffin University after playing J.V. for a college last year not sure if it's 100 percent or not.

Josh Crall from what I have heard wants play in College. Heard he was invited to Marietta’s Elite Camp in early August. I am guessing he is a D3 kid. Other than Stone from Carey and McCreary now from Upper haven’t heard of any other players from N10 teams with College looks. Vent’s younger brother Mason is probably a D2/3 prospect. Jordan Fenner from Crawford’s brother played Otterbein for 4 yrs. Heard Jordan has had some college contact. Zach Hayman from Mohawk is a very nice player not real tall but maybe could play at a small D3. Heard Caleb Rausch from Wynford has interest in football from some small D1 schools. That is about all I have heard.

Who has McCreary received offers from? Not 100% sure haven’t seen anything official but heard from a reliable source he has several D2 schools with serious interest and couple small D1s with interest.

Do not know the McCreary kid or parents personally. Info I get is "2nd hand" but I feel very reliable. Agree interest is different than offer. Usually D2 schools wait till between Junior & Senior seasons to offer. There is definitely a lot of real interest from hearing about the schools that he visited un-officially. Remains to be seen where he ends up. Knowing the kids skill set & work ethic. Plus heard he grew some and put on more bulk. I wouldn't bet against him playing in college.
