It's an easy decision if Urban wouldn't have been so inaccurate on Media Day.

According Zach's mother, Cortney's mother, Courtney's best friend Michelle Herman, Tom Herman and the Powell police, there was no abuse. As Urban said about 2015 and confirmed by the aforementioned, "There was nothing."

McMurphy's latest disclosure reveals ZS had $2,000 in various 'sex toys' delivered to his office in the Woody Hayes Center. He supposedly took photos of his body parts at various venues, including in a White House tourist visit. Smith's newly disclosed conduct doesn't come as a surprise.

Very common in today's reporting in my opinion. They fight to be first and scream their credibility but in the end most should be working for TMZ.

Finally, this ridiculous debacle is coming to it's rightful conclusion this Sunday!
President Michael Drake could have saved the tax payers what will probably end up at about a million dollars for an overblown investigation, by conducting a thorough internal investigation and announcing his final decision on the matter. It would have avoided all the ridiculous drama and sensationalism we have all endured the past few weeks. It would have spared a lot of anxiety and anguish endured by Urban & Shelly, the OSU community and most importantly the football players.
That being said, I fully expect to see President Michael Drake standing before the cameras at mid-week and telling the nation: "After conducting a complete and thorough investigation by the appointed investigating teams, we have found that head coach Urban Meyer has fulfilled the responsibilities of his position, following university protocol and met all of the expected obligations in reporting assistant coach Zachary Smith's actions to his superiors. Therefore, it is my decision as President of this great university and the committee's recommendation, that coach Urban Meyer be reinstated immediately."

Too late, the season is already ruined. Exactly what OSU hater Brett McMurphy wanted. This was a NC level team that will not make the playoff. I’ll be shocked if this team makes the playoff now after this distraction. 11-1 at worst has turned into 10-2 at best in my eyes. I see a 9-3 season. Brett McMurphy won, we OSU fans, players, coaches lost. Brett McMurphy won by lying and exaggerating facts. Brett ‘edited story’ McMurphy stole a NC from OSU

I see a team that is totally motivated, unlike anything we have seen in quite some time. The mindset will be locked into every single players brain, with absolute resolve! I think all the distraction and injustices that have been bestowed upon Urban and his family and this entire team will be played out with a vengeance on the football field. The level of talent possessed by this Buckeye team is incredible, giving them a burning motivation and resolve, is going to be a driving force throughout the season and into the playoffs.

Could see a team with a chip on their shoulder,,, season will be made or lost on how the Oline plays imo. Can we protect Haskins,,can we open holes for the backs? In a perfect world one will make the other that much stronger because of the threat of either being lethal to an opposing defense. Protecting Haskins to me is the #1 unkown---Can we do it?

Think the OL will be one of many team strengths. Not only are they rangy, the 'slobs' average about 310 lbs, with quality depth that will allow frequent rotation. A fresh, non-fatigued OL in the 4th quarter is going to pay many dividends.

During practice this week, Greg Schiano has already given a red faced vein popping, fire and brimstone speech about how an "us against the world" mentality is a must. Not often does something happen that calls for this speech to be used and the attitude it instills.

One thing is certain Torch,,our Oline practicing against our D-line each day can only help make them tougher. I'm as excited about this team as I;ve been in awhile. A lot of veteran talent and a lot of young talent mixed in. Can't wait to see it unfold. I was reading on Rivals about the competition for staring spots. It sounds like some real battles going on. The depth on the Oline appears to be good. When you have 4 and 5 stars battling in camp to get on the field that is a good thing. Iron sharpens iron.

You guys are thinking with your heart not your brain.
Sept 14 - Zach Smith goes to Court Sept 15 - Ohio State plays TCU
What do you think the media is going to do all week? That's now a loss. DISTRACTION
The Media isn't going to back down, the opposing teams media is going to ask ad nausea about this all season. This will be a distraction the entire season and will cause a team that was at worst 11-1 to now at best 10-2 and more likely 9-3 or 8-4.
Imagine the bowl game OSU plays in when all players are available to the media. Eeek, that's going to be a lot of Zach Smith questions for every single player on the team. The opposing teams media knows they can use this to distract OSU and help their hometown team win so they will use it. This season is ruined.
Brett McMurphy needs sued into the ground. That guy lied, lied and lied some more. Sue him into oblivion.

You confuse these guys with typical college football players and coaches. Urban gets suspended and the next guy up is a former NFL head coach. You really think he doesn't know how to deal with distractions? These kids aren't just playing football either, they are auditioning for their future careers. They will rally around Urban and TCU will be lucky to even score a point against that defense. This isn't BGSU here.

The more "the media is going to do" the more this team will be driven. You're thinking about how a basketball team would be affected, they can't play fired up and PO'd. They have to play under control and on an even keel. Football is a completely different animal. In football, the media attacking a school, coaches and TEAM will only make a very good team more determined and more PO'd. I feel sorry for the team on the other side of the ball when Ohio State's defense is snarling mad. They can't take their angst out against the media, but they sure can against the 11 on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Have you played basketball AND football?? If you have then think back at the pregame talks given to both, there is no comparison. The only "media" difference I see this year is contact with the players. You haven't see any so far this year have you? At some point, the media will be given contact with the most mature players, but if a question is asked about this fiasco, they will have an agreed upon non-statement statement or walk away if the media persists. The media will learn if they want access to the players, they have to stick to football questions. What the players know about.

These are experienced and seasoned coaches, that know how to motivate the troops and boy do they have motivational material to work with this season! First of all, they will have the Zach Smith debacle in total, mental perspective and placed entirely in it's proper, past tense. Any attempt to make ZS a topic of questioning will be immediately responded to in the same calm manner. "Mr. Smith is not with this football team and of no importance or relevance to us or this football program.....next question?" I envision this years edition of the Buckeyes to be more focused and motivated than any we have seen in recent history, including the 2014 National Championship team.

The Buckeyes should be favored in every regular season game this year. Even the road games against Penn St and Michigan State. The only way this doesn't happen is if Haskins is just terrible so we have to face 8 in the box every week.

The questions the media will be asking OSU Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5, Week 6, etc. This is going to be a BIG DISTRACTION
"So Urban when did you first see the Zach Smith receipt for the $2,000 dollars of sex toys that was delivered to the Woody Hayes Center?"
"So Urban, how many big black dildos and butt plugs were in that shipment?"
"So Urban, were some of those sex toys for you?"
"So Urban, did you see Zach Smith's weiner picks from the White House?"
"So Urban, when did you first hear about Zach Smith whipping his weiner out at the White House and taking pictures of it?"
Are some of you really that naive to think the opposing teams media isn't going to ask these questions every single week? They want their team to beat OSU so they are going to ask these questions to get under Urban's skin and distract him. I'm telling you it's going to be bad. 8-4, 9-3.

If you follow the turd show in the forums over on 11 warriors site this is turning from crazy to absolutely batshit insane! Now the ex-husband of the staffer had been outed by some of the guys on there and so has the woman Smith was doinking. Twitter posts from that time and posts to their forum by the ex-husband stating all kinds of crazy stuff. Even if half of it is true what a damn mess. Pull up a chair and make more popcorn this is not going away any time soon. Lord help us all. I feel the longer it takes the more dirt will be unraveled about both sets of Smith's

8-4, Losses to TCU, PSU, MSU, Mich
Texas Message Boards were talking about Zach Smith 3 days before Brett McMurphy "broke" the story. Texas Message Boards broke the story first. Hmmm, who's the Head Coach of Texas? Who paid Courtney Smith $10,000 in 2017? Zach Smith got a 5 star WR right from underneath who in April? Was Courtney looking for another payout and this mystery man who paid her $10,000 the year before come up with the scheme to get Zach arrested for getting near Courtney's property? Who leaked all of this to Texas fans so they could get on their message boards and break this story 1st? Who leaked this to Brett McMurphy because it's doubtful he was on Texas Message Boards?
