Ontario loses 3-1 to Granville. Ontario's goalie got a Yellow Card in the first half, complaining to the referee and thus had to come out of the game. Granville scored 2 goals in the next 5 minutes against Ontario's JV goalie. Not the first time this year players on this team have failed to control their emotions.
Ontario beats Clear Fork 5-2 without three starters all top scorers. One their junior returning 2nd Team All-Ohio player who received a Red Card in a previous game, thus disqualifying him from playing in this game. Another example of this team being out of control.

Just more bulletin board material, I suppose. ;-)

I don't know how much it went into the voting but looking at Clear Fork's schedule I don't see many bad losses with Clear Fork, yes they lost to Galion, their other losses were to Upper, Lexington, Ontario, Big Walnut, Berlin Hiland, Mount Vernon and Huron. Galion only had four losses and they were to Huron, Ontario, Mansfield Christian and Upper. I think if they looked at that, the Mansfield Christian loss at home is a bad one. Also, I wonder if they also look at the strength of schedule.
Clear Fork's nonleague- Madison, Cloverleaf, West Holmes, Berlin Hiland, Big Walnut, Mount Vernon, Huron, Upper Sandusky, Ashland, Lexington
Galion's nonleague- Madison, St. Peter's, Mansfield Senior, Upper Sandusky, Huron, Toledo Bowsher, Crestview, Loudonville(was supposed to play them twice but the second meeting got cancelled), Mansfield Christian.
Whatever happened just move on play the team who you have and don't worry about the seeding

But when teams like Huron smash Galion and Lose to Clear Fork they will vote CF higher. Then as indicated you can also look at the US games to were CF handle them with ease and Galion lost. Even more in todays seeding(because players can be forced to sit out 10 days) the total body of work is looked at instead of a single loss or win.

Whatever happened just move on play the team who you have and don't worry about the seeding To me, I would think that the players themselves are much more concerned (comparatively) about the league and not so much about the Out Of Conference scheduling that took place with their respective AD's. That being said.....sure, the coaches would like for their teams to want to face great competition, but the players themselves want W's and not L's. Understandably, to be "great team", you've got to beat "great teams". Clear Fork has been there and done that, whilst Galion has not. I'm pulling for the Tigers for that reason and also for a variety of other reasons. Six years ago, a lot of the Galion kids probably didn't even know that much about soccer, let alone how to train for it or play it. Look at what they've accomplished since starting up varsity soccer. Sole possesion of second place in the MOAC (this year). Yes, Ontario is great right now, but ya' gotta' give it to the Galion coaches. Clear Fork has been playing competitive High School Varsity Soccer since at least 2004 (18 years ago, inclusive); Galion since 2016 (6 years ago, inclusive). Clear Fork playoff wins since 2004 = 16 (with 3 trips to the District Final) and Galion has exactly = 0. Out of curiosity, do you even know how the seeds are selected ? (P.S. That's a loaded question).

I don't know the whole process but I know the coaches do the vote. I have seen in basketball the wins and losses are broke down by division so if you have more DII wins then DIII or DIV wins then a team could get a better seed.
