Ashland girls are off to a 5-0 start. Still have yet to surrender a goal this year. Thursday will be a big one for the OCC, as Ashland hosts Madison. Should be a great match.

Tigers feature freshman sensation Denise Higgins who leads the state with 32 goals in 12 games. Folks, if you haven't seen this young lady play, I suggest you get down to a game before she joins the Olympic team. I am serious, She is that good. By far the best athlete in the school, boy or girl.

Come down to Mansfield and watch Madison's sophomore All-American Taylor Huff. The summer between her 8th and 9th grade year she was on the west coast in Oregon playing with the USA 13 and under National Team. This year she was invited to play with the USA Junior National team, instead of playing high school soccer. She was going to, but decided to stay in Madison and play for her high school team

Madison isn't 6 goals better than Lex on grass. Madison has a HUGE advantage, practicing every day on the artificial turf of their football field, where the District matches are played. Lex and Ontario practice and play grass.
Ontario should lose much worse than the 2-1 loss to Madison on grass, earlier in the year.

Big game today for the District Championship. With all the rain it's a good thing this will be played on turf at Madison, but I guess this game was going to be played on turf regardless.

this has nothing to do with past results, but why are soccer teams allowed to play on their home field for a district finals ?

this has nothing to do with past results, but why are soccer teams allowed to play on their home field for a district finals ? Because the OHSAA must not consider a soccer field to provide a major advantage as long as the field condition is good and there is adequate seating for the amount of fans.
