It had mostly to do with their geography. There just aren't many like sized teams in their vicinity and they would be on the periphery of any conference any of those teams currently reside in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only school that voted no on Harding joining the MOAC was RV. I remember them commenting that they thought Harding was too big.

I'm a bit surprised that it didn't require unanimous consent in order to bring a new team in.

Ok. I stand corrected. I remembered RV but not NU. I wonder if Galion or East Knox had any say in that decision.

I'm sure that Galion did but I don't see why any blue division schools would have cared one way or the other.

Galion and EK may not have had any say since they were also added with Harding.

Galion was added with Upper. Harding was Upper's replacement after they decided to leave for the N10. Upper ended up playing football in the MOAC for 1 season. Again, why would any blue division team care who the red division added? They both had 8 teams and functioned independent of each other for the most part.

Not sure about your Blue and Red question, but that would make sense. I was under the thought that Galion and Harding came in the same year. Never thought they may have been offered a spot at different times. They all came in in 2014 but Upper had already decided to leave.

That is a good question with the old MOAC that may be answered by a future SBC member. Do all divisions get to vote or decide on issues that only affect one division? Did the Red Division schools of the MOAC get a vote on Blue Division changes?

BV and JA tied at 14 in the third. Not at the game but following on Twitter. Sounds like Pugh is killing BV.

We find out how good Pleasant is the next 3 weeks @ Jonathan Alder River Valley @ North Union The chance of Pleasant winning one of these games is about as good as John Hoynes making a political comeback... Arnie Vinnick has a better chance of winning. JA --- OUCH RV ---- ball game but loss NU --- ball game but loss In three weeks pleasant is 3-3 I think sir you missed a few of those predictions.

Highland-Centerburg was a really good game that honestly could have gone either way. Both defenses struggled at times, Highland defending the pass and Centerburg defending the run. Highland called some nice blitzes with the backers late in the game that resulted in pressure and sacks that got Centerburg in some tough situations. Highland fumbled on the Centerburg 3 yd line with about 5 min left in the game. Centerburg turned the ball over on downs with about 2 min left on the Highland 35 yd line. Highland took the ball and drove the length of the field and scored with about 50 seconds left for the win. Both teams played well and I must I was pretty impressed with Centerburg, they have some players. Congrats to the Scots on the win and best of luck to Centerburg on the remainder of their season.

Dominate may be to strong of a description but 4-3 in their first year, that's a good record for a newbie to build on. Adjust their ooc schedule a little and they could have some success soon. Then with the addition of Clear Fork and Ontario, who have struggled lately, they could crank out winning seasons. IF the younger levels see success, a program can improve each year. Hey dumb ***! Harding whooped RV'/ *** In the 90's. Stop hating on Harding you idiot. Harding has the best tradition and we're once a D1 powerhouse. One day we will be back.

Harding 3-0 in Moac play! With the total scores of the 3 games 129-12! This week JA comes to Harding stadium for the first time. If Harding defense countines to play lights out then Harding will win. In a close game they have the athletes to make plays. We will see. The winner of this game takes the Moac red. Who is way more tougher then Moac blue.

The Blue is a different size league and judging from last years play off success is a harder conference. I would say top to bottom red is tougher but the top of the blue has had a lot of success past week 10.

There is no sarcasm there. Those are honest words. I feel they will be a solid contender every year in the MOAC since they are getting back to a steady schedule. You completely misread my post.

Okay I must of misread. Just don't throw disrespect at Harding past with rich tradition. The Moac is a great thing for Harding. Harding will thank the Moac in 20 years I guarantee it.

On another note coming from a Fairbanks homer.... any shot we get any Moac red wins this year? Harding, JA and pleasant will destroy us and did. Was not impressed with an RV team that dressed 70 guys.

Disrespect? Harding had some solid seasons but let's not inflate them to much. Harding may thank the MOAC. I could see the MOAC not being as happy. BE honest, nobody wanted Harding and the ONLY reason they are in the MOAC is because they were desperate for a member and had someone in a great location.

Fyi you can edit a post 1st when was the last time you even sniffed the playoffs? 2nd tradition is not something you have, lose, and get back... tradition is consistency over long periods of time.
