I think the guy certainly looks like an NFL QB . I wanna reserve judgement until after Penn St and a few other higher end teams with quality defenses. I would imagine the DC's around the country are looking for areas to exploit a weakness in the OSU offense. At some point he'll be tested with different coverages and blitzes that maybe he hasn't seen. One thing is for certain--the kids' accuracy is 2nd to none at this stage of his career.

If Haskins keeps this up, then by the end of the season he will be considered the best Pro Style QB in college football. That person gets a contract worth $30 million+. What would any sane person do?

He has looked like a NFL QB during maybe the weakest part of the schedule. I hope he keeps it up but now there is film of him and teams can prepare better but so can OSU.

His childhood dream and goal in life was playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes. I think he returns for his final season next year.

Even though we won the game with Haskins driving the team to back to back TD's,,,he's got room to improve. Quite a different environment for any new QB to handle. Something to build on for him for sure, but I think he could stand more seasoning. Hopefully he learns from it and keeps developing as a QB. The NFL will bring pressure constantly and from all angles. I'm glad he got it done in the 4th quarter, but I'm not sure he looked like an NFL ready QB. More fun learning and developing from winning a game like that, than losing. Am guessing it was a character building evening for him.

I'm curious, how many college qb's have you seen who would have performed better in that environment? The list can't be that long.

I think it will be a huge confidence booster for him. He's starting to gain some go to plays and players. The offense is growing and with some more seasoning with be that much better. The TD that KJ Hill made to put us ahead,,great down field block by Terry McLearan, took out two guys almost. To me KJ Hill is my favorite receiver. Get the ball in his hands in the 5-7 yard area and he makes things happen.
