A question we all are wondering! After the non conference schedule, I didn't have faith. I thought, let's see what happens versus Plymouth. Then I thought that Monroeville will be the first "real" test. Now, after a 5-0 start, I'm interested. Who would have thought I'd be looking forward to the SP VS SC game!? I'm so happy for the kids, community, school, and the conference. As they say, steel sharpens steel. So hopefully they can continue to make the league more competitive overall. Congrats SC on a fast start to 2018.

Congrats SC on a fast start to 2018. I was in the same boat as you. Though I think Mapleton should not be overlooked, but give credit where credit is due and SC is off to a hot first half. They are in a very tough region. 7-3 and they could be the odd man out, but if they were in mapletons region, they'd probably be hosting a playoff game.

I think Mapleton will beat SC this week but you never know. SC and SP will need to go 9-1 to guarantee a playoff berth in Region 26. It is stacked and 8-2 might not get you in this year.
Top 8 teams following week 10 qualify for playoffs Current 1 5-0 Mohawk 10.4500 2 5-0 McComb 8.9500 3 5-0 Edgerton 7.5500 4 5-0 South Central 7.4000 5 5-0 Leipsic 7.0000 6 5-0 Pandora-Gilboa 6.6500 7 4-1 Arlington 5.9000 8 4-1 Tiffin Calvert 5.7500 9 4-1 Norwalk St Paul 5.1500

since the game is at home,i think the trojans will beat the mounties in a high scoring affair.mapleton is 2nd in their region of d-7 and south central is 4th in their region but there is 4 teams in the blanchard valley conference and they have to start to beat each other up and if south central keeps winning that will help.now arlington got blown out by mccomb but have to beat each other contender. a big spoiler in bvc to shake champion bvc and playoff positioning would be liberty benton.they might be out of bvc race but could effect the other contenders of bvc as far as playoff spots. lb has a great recent history.

Yeah, I think the Mounties will prevail in this one. The QB for Mapleton is very good and I think Mapleton's skilled players are better. Although, the big question for the week is ....are the Hartley's playing? Heard they were injured and may not be back this week.
