I can't believe this topic wasn't already started. Ohio St is a a 3.5 point favorite with the over/under being 72
Penn State is 14-19 vs Ohio State all-time Ohio State is 18-14 vs Penn State all-time because OSU had to vacate the 2010 win ^^^ But Penn State had to vacate a bunch of their wins vs OSU during the Paterno era, then was allowed to have those wins back. Vacating wins over stuff that wasn't cheating is so silly. Tattoos don't win you games. Using academic ineligible players is cheating. OSU vs Penn State in the Big Ten era John Cooper vs Joe Paterno - Cooper won 5-3

White out, in Happy Valley, 4 vs. 9 it doesn’t get any better than this, well if the game was in late October/November it would.
I taking my bucks in this by a final 27-17.

I'm taking the Buckeyes to prevail 31-20 Both teams continue to develop their defense and rely on the offense. Neither has a defensive edge, the Buckeyes have edge offensively.

First quarter advantage Penn State, more so than the score indicates. Option QB an advantage in college football. McSorley is better at it than I thought. Ohio State needs to have Haskins throw on every play. No run game with 11 on defense against 10 on offense, due to no fear of a QB run or option play.

You can here the enthusiasm in Herbstreit and Fowlers voices, As they're announcing this game. Makes wanna quit watching, Being they're for Penn State, Especially Herstriet. Why does he hate Ohio State so much ? They gave him his free education.

One more inept offensive series and it’s time to give martell a series to see if he can provide a spark. Imo

So are we pumping the brakes yet on Haskins being the greatest qb ever after 4 games? He’s rattled right now.

LONG time MNJ sports writer Jon Spencer wrote an interesting article this week. Where he said that Haskins had to play like JT did against Michigan and Penn State. A lot of haters out there, but it is undeniable how he played against Big Ten Rivals. Can Haskins direct his team to score 22 in the 2nd half?

Yep. Dabo & Saban would Putin the backup right now. Haskins has played like a deer in headlights. Let’s see if Urban can win this only down 6, Dabo & Saban would do whatever it takes to win.

UH, Dabo didn't have the backup to put in today. He had to put in the third stringer.

Sigh. Great start to the half.
But hey! let's give all the momentum away by first killing a TD chance by fixing what wasn't broken by trying to run the gimmickly stupid easy as hell to see what's coming wildcat....and then to add insult to injury let's somehow figure out a way to get a GD facemask on a FG to rip 3 points off the board. Brilliant!

I have no idea how Ohio State won this game. Penn State had the best QB, the best D-line, the best LBs, the best DBs, fewer penalties, the fastest player on the field. A HUGE home field advantage. BUT, Penn State has a head coach that made one of the dumbest 4th and 5 calls I've ever seen.
The most important play of the game was Ben "Stone Hands" Victor making a hell of a catch on a poorly thrown ball. The 2nd most important play was the targeting play that knocked out Penn State's #1. After dropped balls early Ohio State WRs must get some credit. 90% of Haskins' passing yards came on runs by the WRs after short passes from Haskins.

Huge win. Haskins was rattled but much of the play-calling by the OSU coaches was suspect. I was yelling for screens and draws by late 1rst quarter. That's how you counter Penn St's front 7 being so aggressive. When the Bucks finally started running screens they went for big yards. Also the failure to control Mcsorley's runs up the middle was frustrating. I put that on the coaches. The players made too many dumb penalties and dropped some early passes. Still, a great win that sets tOSU up perfectly for the rest of the season. We have 4 easy games to fine tune, get people healthy, give Haskins more experience, and get Bosa back to 100%. Then MSU, Maryland and the Name that shall not be spoken.

Willard,
You’re not entirely wrong. But I will say while I agree except for the D-line aspect they were unable to put the buckeyes away even with all that (+) going for them.
That shows how much the buckeyes though down and out, had that “never give up” mentality.
I can’t argue that at literally all facets of the game Penn State out did the bucks, but with that said, where the bucks won and tipped the scale was the “big play/game ending drives.”
Everyone said terrible call, maybe but when McSorley is running and passing at will and your expecting both, it’s not crazy to say give the rock to the RB and hopefully catch them up, we all have the careers we choice or had to for a reason and there is a reason where not the HC or OC for the lions.
Absolute great great game, literally gave me an upset stomach.

Where are you JT Barrett iv, We miss you and your lethal weapon arm. With all due respect to Haskins, Barrett would have moved this offense and done much better than the putrid 50% completion percentage we witnessed tonight. Don't get me wrong, not blaming Haskins, the play selection was God awful tonight.
