This could be bad news for the locals in the Mansfield area. Southside pizza, one of the best pizzas around was just sold. Lets hope the new owners don’t change the recipe. Think its set to re-open March 9th.

I treat myself to pizza about every 4-5 weeks. I love trying different pizza's but need to watch it I suppose. I've plenty of other bad habits. Ha

GEEESHHH you guys eat WAYYYY more pizza than I do. Good luck to your waist lines in the future. Usually 2-4 times a month, you figure 30 days in a month eating twice a day 60 meals 2-4 really isn’t as often as you think. We eat a lot of chicken – and vegetables so I don’t mind eating pizza and I don’t overeat when doing so. We never get Dominos, Pizza hut or any like that, mainly when traveling we like trying something not available around here. Size 34 waste but I’m over 6ft and probably better shape than most my age.

shelby, I agree Domino's and Pizza Hut are by far the two worst pizza's I have eaten.

Don’t forget to support your local pizza places and restaurants with take out. Don’t want these businesses to close their doors they need our support.

Just before the outbreak we were up in Cleveland in the Mayfield Heights area and stopped at Giuseppe's Pizza. Got to say we really liked this spot. Very good pizza with a great sauce. Around 8.5 out of 10 I debated about posting but figure we need something else to look at besides all the bad news. Eventually we will be through this.

Pizza Cravin' in Norwalk is offering a great special right now. It is geared towards families with school age children, but anyone can take addvantage.
For just $4 - you can purchase a Make at Home cheese pizza kit. This is for an XL pizza - about 17 inches. If you want toppings, it's an additional $2. It has been extremely popular! Who doesn't like homemade pizza. You get the dough, sweet sauce, and cheese. They do not skimp on the portions.
They are a carry-out / delivery only establishment, so they were not affected by the closure of dining in. However, I was impressed with their creativity and flexibility to adjust to the situation. They have found a way to stand out amongst the many pizza places in Norwalk during this time. Plus the low price makes it possible for families who are out of work or short on money to enjoy.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our pizza project, and we plan to purchase again throughout this stay at home order.

Think its set to re-open March 9th. Went over and picked up a pizza from Southside the other day. Got to say the new owners did a good job keeping it as close to original as they could. Still very good one of the better ones around. Support you favorite places so we keep them around.

Like most everyone one else out there been doing very little traveling around so I just haven’t tried any new spots for quite some time. I know Deschner's Pizza in Mansfield has been mentioned on hear numerous times but got to say it again it’s still one of my favorites. We picked one up this past weekend and it was a great.

Berwick in Green Camp is excellent. It’s a little carry out and at lunch time they have pizza you can get by the slice. Inexpensive and excellent. We stopped and tried Berwick, not impressed. maybe a 3-4 out of 10

Had pizza in Coshocton couple times this summer. Tried Crowtown Pizza and Plus One Pizza. We thought Plus One was better, has better sauce.

Had pizza in Coshocton couple times this summer. Tried Crowtown Pizza and Plus One Pizza. We thought Plus One was better, has better sauce. I didn't know Plus One Pizza was still around. That was a staple of our college diet in the 90's in Wooster. They delivered two large 1 topping pizzas for $10.00. They were open late most nights (after midnight) so when we would get home late from an away game, many of us would meet in someone's room and have four pizzas delivered. It wasn't bad pizza - especially for that price. It was a sweet tomato sauce if I remember correctly. I think the one in Wooster has been gone for close to 15 - 20 years. Haven't seen one since.

Fwiw, lately, I've been ordering a bit from Little Italy in Bellevue. I love their Antipasto Salads with House Dressing which is almost like a Betty's French.

We ended up stopping in London Ohio at Ronetti's Pizza. Bit of a wait to get served but it was worth it. The pizza was good, been in business since 1969.
