Just enjoyed watching a replay of OSU scUM game. Two things stand out: 1st OSU defense was generally outstanding and 2nd Hairball is the biggest crybaby and immature loser coach in college fb. The man was out of control the entire game, bitching about most every single call that didn't go his way. M must have a fulltime assistant assigned exclusively to clip board retrievals....lol. Heck, onetime it was slung 15 yards onto the playing field. (did he get a 1st down on that one?, that's right, the clipboard fell incomplete) Still has that QB arm I can see....lol

Urban Meyer predicts JT Barrett will some day be the Head Coach at Ohio State. That is the supreme compliment, from one of the games all-time great coaches. I guess this reveals the scope of J.T.'s football knowledge.

JT is an outstanding college quarterback who had a couple sub-par games this year. Granted he had sub-par QB ratings of 93.3 or lower vs. Ind., MSU & Mich. That doesn't reveal the total picture, although the passing game wasn't working in those games, J.T. had stellar efforts with his legs in all of those games, rushing for 137, 105 and 125 yards. J.T. has protected the ball well in 12 games, only 5 int's and 2 fumbles.

I agree. I should have said a few sub-par games throwing the ball.

Heads are going to roll. Urban assured that there will be 'changes' made. "This won't happen again."
I'm certain Tim Beck is gone and possibly Ed Warriner as well.
My big concern is just how is this game going to effect committed and potential recruits. This level of ineptitude has to have at least a few recruits questioning the wisdom of their decision and diminish their view of the offensive coaches and level of competency, after this dismal display.

Most of the recruits have said they're 100% commited, losing a part of football no matter the score. Others saying they can't wait to be here and get back to Arizona next year.

Others saying they can't wait to be here and get back to Arizona next year. Going to Arizona next year would mean missing the playoff. They should be saying they want to go to either Pasadena or New Orleans next year, followed by Atlanta.

All I heard from some on here was what a great leader JT Barrett was, and what a winner JT Barrett was, and how he's setting all these passing records. All Barrett can throw is a 1 yard shuffle pass, that's were the majority of his passing stats come from. Out of the 4 quarterbacks to start under Urban Meyer at Ohio State, JT Barrett has the worst record.
And it's not JT Barrett's fault he was better as a freshman than he is now. Who's fault is it? It is Ed "My dad is Willard Fillmore" Warriner that is the biggest problem with Ohio State's offense.
The 5 worst games as OC for Tom Herman in 2013 and 2014 21 pts - Virginia Tech 24 pts - Mich St - Big Ten Champ game 31 pts - Penn St 31 pts - Minnesota 31 pts - Wisconsin
The 5 worst games as OC for Ed "Fillmore will make excuses for me" Warriner in 2015 and 2016 0 pts - Clemson - Fiesta Bowl 14 pts - Michigan St 17 pts - Michigan St 20 pts - Northern Illinois 21 pts - Penn St
Amazing stat follows 72% 21 of 29 games Tom Herman's offense scored 40+ in 2013 and 2014 42% 11 of 26 games Ed Warriner's offense has scored 40+ in 2015 and 2016
Warriner needs to go as the OC, if he doesn't want a pay cut then say, bye, bye see if you can find anyone else in the entire nation willing to pay you more than us because nobody wants you as an OC.

One game seldom affects recruiting. If it develops into a pattern however it does have an effect. Ohio State's brand is far to strong for one game to have any meaningful affect on recruiting. I question any QB and WR that goes to Ohio State especially if they are under the impression that Urban can get them to the pro's.

What Urban needs to do is hire a D-coordinator, that he trusts implicitly. Tell him what he expects of him and get out of his way. Hire a special teams coach that he trusts implicitly, tell him what he expects of him and get out of his way. THEN go back to how it was in BG, Utah and to some extent at U of F and call the plays himself. There are ZERO potential O-coordinators that will ever know his offense like he does. The exception was Herman, who during his interview, COMPLETELY explained Urban's offense to him. Herman RAN Urban's offense, since then no one comprehends it like Herman did, nor will anyone else.

I used to think laying an egg in a bowl game was detrimental to recruiting, but have come to realize that for today's 4 and 5 star players THE single most important thing to them is.....will you make me a high draft choice and will you make it happen in 3 years.

Good point Redskin Maybe they should ask Cardale Jones Philly Brown Jalin Marshall Mike Thomas Devin Smith and..... Devier Posey Brian Hartline Roy Hall Brian Robiskie Anthony Gonzalez Tedd Ginn Jr. Santonio Holmes Michael Jenkins I should have worded my statement a little more clearly even though I think it's pretty clear. My intent was to point out Urban's issues with getting kids to the NFL at the QB/WR positions and having them be successful from there. Cardale rode the pine as the 3rd string QB. Jalin Marshall went undrafted and had about 150 yards receiving this year. Braxton Miller went in the 3rd round and had around 100 yards receiving this year. Philly Brown was a tressel recruit and has had a solid NFL run thus far. Devin Smith was a high draft pick and he's done basically nothing in the NFL. Michael Thomas has been excellent no doubt about it. One stud, one solid, one giant bust and three guys who are doing nothing. Not exactly setting the world on fire. Have to be careful and draw the clear line between Tressels players like Jock listed and Meyers. Tress had an outstanding track record and deserves credit for it.

IRRELEVANT! They all got what they wanted, an NFL contract. AND they all made the team.
You weren't like all else who thought Cardale and Braxton were "projects" with a potential high ceiling??
Marshall left a year early and NO ONE thought he'd get drafted or make a team as a Free Agent. Marshall was the Jets #1 punt and kickoff returner.
In his 2 years with the Jets, Devin Smith has had broken ribs, a punctured lung and a torn ACL.
One should take into consideration that Tressel ran a Pro-I offense and Urban runs his version of a spread option offense that is predicated upon first and foremost running down hill in the A-gaps.

Looks like Beck is leaving to be OC at Texas.
Been reading that Kevin Wilson may be next in line to be OC here. Lots of smoke with him and usually where there's smoke there's fire.

Looks like it's basically a done deal that Kevin Wilson is coming to join the staff.
Also joining is Ryan Day as QB coach. He was previously San Francisco's QB coach. He was also a GA at Florida under Meyer.
