crestview@monroeville mapleton@st.paul new london@plymouth south central@western reserve
well this will be an interesting week coming up not only in the conference but playoff spots. according to joe eitel, mapleton is top dog in region 25.meanwhile st.paul is in ninth place in region 26.but a win over mapleton will move st.paul up.meanwhile south central is 6th in region26 but will need a win over western reserve to stay in contention.in the big game of region 26 will be mccomb@pandora gilboa leipsic is at arcadia(not much help for leipsic) and arlington hosts pesky liberty benton. mohawk top dog in region26 has bucyrus not many points, and edgerton is at tinora,

I see two upsets this week. 1. Mapleton over SP. Mapleton hangs with SP every year. Mahaney is one of the best coaches around, ( Would be scary to see what he could do at a big school) and I think this could be the year since SP isn't as powerful as usual. 2. Western Reserve over SC. Sorry Smitty, Western has figured it out. SC will lose it's second of four in a row. Also, Coach Stevenson may be a bit more enthusiastic for this week being it's SC. In a nail biter, Western by a touchdown.

Pressbox................ I could see Western beating SC, but I hope SC finds a way to continue winning. Let's hope Mapleton doesn't come into the SP game thinking "SP isn't as powerful as usual" or they will find themselves on a long quite bus ride home. GO FLYERS!

its been a long while since south central was this good and my heart is with the trojans while even though i pick st.paul over mapleton with my head,my heart wants the mounties to winso they can hold 1st in region25(joe eitel) a lot of points, they finish with plymouth at home,at new london and home to western reserve.not to many points there, but can get help from rittman, monroeville, crestview, and south central

The last time St. Paul lost a home Firelands Conference game was...? I'll wait, and I'll take the Flyers.

2011 to Western Reserve and 2002 to Crestview.
They aren't due for another until 2020 I suppose.

^^^ I knew that, just wanted to see if anyone else did. The streak has to end at some point, I just don't think it's going to be this weekend.

Given their track record since 2002, picking St. Paul to lose a home game in this conference with any confidence is as lucky as picking a 15 seed over a 2 seed in March Madness.

well scott it might happen because the mounties have a veteran qb and probably the best qb in the conference in logan pharmer and skilled receivers.then south central back to back but not as many skilled players.flyers will hammer western reserve and monroeville.if not then if the flyers make the playoffs in region 26 they could see mohawk top seed or or calvert or any of the bvc teams leipsic, arlington, mccomb or pandora gilboa.what a gauntlet.oh scott mapleton is top dog in region 15 and if they beat st.paul they would be looking good in region 25.

Gettin' hot in here lol. So anyway, is south Central a senior laden team ? Is this the reason for their success so far or are they young and someone that will contend next year also?

Flyers by 10... I have to be believe the SP coaches will do a better job of putting their players in matchups that they can win consistently.

Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-***, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey Poop he is! Hallelujah! Holy Poop! Where's the Tylenol?

SP should all but clinch the title next Friday with a victory over SC. Also very possible the loser doesnโt make playoffs of that game. It will very close. A team to watch out for is Patrick Henry who has two potential big points games coming up

Hat's off to SP.
SP by 30+ over SC. Crestview over NL. Western over Monroeville in a nail biter. Mapleton over Plymouth in another close one.
