Region 26 is absolutely loaded this year! Fantastic 50 has 8 of the top 12 teams in D7 from R26.
1. #140 Minster (5-2 D7 R28) 2. #150 Pandora-Gilboa (7-0 D7 R26) 3. #156 McComb (6-1 D7 R26) 4. #197 Fort Loramie (6-1 D7 R28) 5. #201 Sycamore Mohawk (7-0 D7 R26) 6. #218 Edgerton (7-0 D7 R26) 7. #245 Tiffin Calvert (6-1 D7 R26) 8. #247 Leipsic (6-1 D7 R26) 9. #253 Convoy Crestview (6-1 D7 R28) 10. #273 New Bremen (4-3 D7 R28) 11. #291 Norwalk St Paul (6-1 D7 R26) 12. #296 Hamler Patrick Henry (4-3 D7 R26)
If South Central is able to knock off St. Paul this week(and win out), they are projected to finish 6th and St. Paul projected 7th (if they win out after that). If St. Paul knocks off South Central(and wins out) they are projected to finish 6th and South Central projected 8th (if they win out after that).
If these teams were in Region 25 still with Mapleton, they would both easily be a top 4 seed regardless of the outcome this Friday. SP 8W: 14.75 (13.45-17.40) 89% in, 0% home, proj. #7 (#5-out) 9W: 17.65 (16.80-18.90) 100% in, 3% home, proj. #6 (#2-#7)
SC 8W: 13.20 (12.35-16.75) 62% in, 0% home, proj. #8 (#5-out) 9W: 16.40 (15.60-17.90) 100% in, 1% home, proj. #6 (#4-#8)
Fantastic 50's projected finish for R25 1. Cuyahoga Heights (8-2) 18.10 2. Ashland Mapleton (8-2) 14.20 3. Windham (8-2) 12.05 4. East Canton (7-3) 11.40 (Top 4 earn a first round home game) 5. Youngstown Valley Christian School (6-4) 10.46 6. Ashtabula St John School (6-4) 8.12 7. Richmond Heights (5-5) 7.35 8. Rittman (4-6) 6.80
This being said I think Mapleton has a legitimate shot at being in the Regional Finals this year (if they stay healthy) and has a great shot to knock off Cuyahoga Heights to make it to the State Semifinals. Great to see the conference being as competitive as it is this year!

I think it's wonderful that South Central is showing real signs of improvement, but I doubt the game against St. Paul will be close. You're right about Region 26 being strong this season.

Will be interesting to see some of these games tonight. Playoff picture starting to shape up. R26 SC and St Paul could use a loss from St Henry tonight

Plymouth had 9 drives and were 9/9 scoring all td’s. Finally hunted down the Ashland T-G article on that game yesterday. I still am shocked they were able to do that the Mounties after Mapleton beat up M'ville, snapped SC's streak, and probably gave NSP the closest conf. game they'll see this season. Just...how?
