247 4* RB Tim Baldwin, from Ashburn, Virginia, has pulled his commitment to Michigan University. Just wonder if there is any interest in the Buckeyes or just who. Have seen no speculation yet.

I think Haskins is leaving even if he doesn't win the Heisman. I also doubt if he plays in the Rose Bowl (even though he said he will).

It should be between Kyler and Dwayne but ESPN has been pumping Tua at us since January.

Ohio State recruit Cade Stover from Lexington, Ohio is the 2018 Mr Football. I think he stays for a final year. He's dreamed of playing for the Buckeyes literally his entire life and he's still living the dream. As good as he has produced, there are areas he can improve on and another year will dramtically improve his draft stock.

^You quoted a Cade Stover quote but I think you are talking about Haskins. Haskins is only a sophomore, he can stay 2 more years if he wants.

QB’s always get overdrafted making him a top 10 lock

You don't think Haskins' dream of playing in the NFL, making as much money as possible, is a MUCH MUCH bigger dream?? BTW, when Haskins was asked after the U of M game if he would come back next year, he said this. "After the "season" is over I'll talk to my parents and we'll decide what to do." What does that sound like to your trained ears? Think about it, Haskins will lose his top 4 receivers, that alone will make it difficult for him to repeat what he did this year. Think about this. Haskin's competition for the Heisman this year won't be entering the draft until NEXT year. That, coupled with a much less experienced WR group, makes it likely Haskins won't be drafted as high if he comes back for another year. Are you rooting for Haskins to win the Heisman? If you are, HOW could you say he's coming back for another year?? This isn't even taking into consideration THE worst thing that could happen if he plays another year of college football. Ask JT and Braxton, it does happen. Think about this. Ask Cardale what he'd do if he had it to do over. ALWAYS enter the draft, when your draft stock is highest.

Does anyone remember when Bosa a team captain, the best player in college football, quit the team, left the "brotherhood", quit school? I was reminded when I read 11warriors today. TWO days before the Purdue game. A punch in the gut at a bad time.
The defense for this year was built around the most disruptive player in the country. Urban said his presence on the field, but also his presence in the weight room and locker room was sorely missed.

West Virgina QB will not play in their Bowl Game. Haskins says he feels it's different for a QB. The offense is put together for the QB, the offense counts on the QB's play and the QB is a team leader. He said he would never consider not playing in his TEAM's bowl game.

Just read an amazing thing about Chris Olave. As a Junior in high school he played on their scout team. Two years later as a Freshman he had a break out year at Ohio State.

I read the 'scout team' crappola as well. Total hogwash. Chris transferred to another school and had to sit out his Jr. year. He had 93 catches for 1764 yards and 26 touchdowns last season. Practice squad? Scout team? Bull......

If he was "sitting out" his Junior year, good use of him would have been on the scout team.

Wouldnt that be the only use of him? Of course, he wouldn't be allowed to suit up, but it says a lot about him to participate in practice regimen's, even though he would be in street clothes the entire season.

The story as written expounded on the fact this kid emerged virtually out of nowhere, from a lowly fill-in on a scout team. Terribly misleading reporting. The average reader would be enamored with his fascinating storyline. Think most of us understood the facts as they actually happened.

The "true news".
It is a truism that he played WR on the scout team when sitting out his Junior year. He had a "good" senior year. Not good enough for Ohio State or other big time programs to be interested until October and November of his Senior year. His Senior year he was a 3 Star, a national rank of 299, 68th best WR, 47th best player in California. Ryan Day first noticed Olave on video his Senior year, when recruiting another player. When he was a Sophomore it was thought his best chance for a scholarship was at Corner Back at a low lever program. He was a late bloomer at WR after playing that position on his new school's scout team as a Junior when he was sitting out. Those are ALL of the "facts as they actually happened".

Interesting story indeed. Wasn't Ohio State actually pursuing the school's QB, when the coach or someone in the program pointed out Olave to them?

Music City Bowl score: Auburn 63 Purdue 14. It was 56-7 at the half. I don't know who should be more embarrassed. Purdue, The Big Ten, or Ohio State.

Purdue. They have a coach who turned down his alma mater to return and now has to hit the recruiting trail and convince kids to come to a school that just got dicked down penitentiary style vs an Auburn team that probably wasn't real interested in playing a barely bowl eligible opponent anyway.
Jeff Brohm oughta send Gus Malzahn a nice New Year's gift for calling off the dogs and not hanging a 100 on them. I would have.

Purdue vs 6-6 Minnesota 41 Minnesota 10 Purdue
Purdue vs 7-5 Auburn 63 Auburn 14 Purdue
Purdue even lost to Eastern Michigan. Yet, somehow Ohio State lost by 29 to Purdue. A Purdue team that wouldn't have even had the opportunity to get blown out by Auburn if Ohio State would have just taken care of business and beat them and make them a 5-7 sitting at home during bowl season team.

Washington St-Iowa St and Syracuse -WV were entertaining games last night WV had their ballyhooed QB pull the plug on his team. Consequently, we watched a de-nutted Mountaneer team put up a valient defensive effort for 3+ quarters. The fact they had a vacum at QB and some kid that flat sucked at throwing the ball and looked totally out his element, eventually caught up with them. People keep pounding and hounding about the OSU/Purdue anomoly and comparing scores every step of the way since that fateful Saturday. What I would give to see a rematch of these two same teams today. It would be very ugly my friends!
