Sandusky won last year 49-35 and leads the all time series 27-5-1

I believe 4 of those 5 Bellevue wins are from 2011 when Sandusky joined the NOL.

I believe 4 of those 5 Bellevue wins are from 2011 when Sandusky joined the NOL. No, Bellevue did not beat Sandusky 4 times in 2011. We only played once that year, and it was a week 10 NOL title game that Sandusky won 32-7. But yes, as for what you actually meant, 4 of the 5 Bellevue wins have come since the series restarted in 2011: 2012: 52-6 2013: 49-21 2014: 56-15 2015: 12-7 (decided the NOL title on a very windy night at BAF) The other win came in 1914 by a score of 9-7, during the one year that Bellevue won the Little Big League in football while Sandusky, Fremont, Elyria and Lorain were still members.

Does Bellevue need to move down into the Bay Division and take Shelby's spot so they can be more competitive ?

I'm pretty sure not one coach or player would want to move down to the bay division and not be ready for the end of the season for playoffs. That will never happen. Play in the bay and one and done in the playoffs doesn't truly mean your worthy of even being there. IMO only! Marshmallow schedule does not help come playoff time to prepare you for a run. We have the 4th or 5th toughest schedule in the state this year in DIV! When your on the bubble going 5-5 to make state playoffs, that's what gets you ready for the playoffs. Not playing in the bay and winning the league all the time. How many bay teams played Bellevue this year? There's a reason for that. This might of been a good year to play us really!!! LOL The last 27 year under Nasonti and only 3 season under 500 I think is a pretty good program. Needless to say we'll stay in the Lake I'm pretty sure and reload I hope in the near future.

To think, Bellevue is a few plays away from 6-2. No need to panic; Redmen will rebound before too long

A very young Sandusky roster is starting to find themselves a little more this week. Defense is the key to either team winning, but I’ll guve the edge to Sandusky in a low scoring affair

6-0 Bellevue, 6:50 1st.
Sandusky taking advantage of offside being a dead ball foul rule by doing it over and over to increase the likelyhood of a missed PAT, which worked, since Knotke was 2/3 on the kicks but missed the one the refs decided not to call offside.

10-6 Sandusky at half
Bellevue had a turnover on downs inside the 10 and then threw an INT in the end zone right before half.

19-10 Bellevue, 9:13 4th
Bellevue recovered onside kick after their previous score, and drove for another.
More offside shenanigans on the PAT, but the 2nd attempt was good.

Redmen battling tonight. Impressed by an onside kick call by coach Nasonti but love the decision even if they wouldn’t have gotten it. Go Redmen

Was to go B team! Nice to see how really tough this SBC division is, and that the 1 dimensionsal team can't get it done against solid teams. Probes the point I said 5 weeks ago.

Nice job by the Bellevue D mostly containing Stewart. The only time he broke a run of 20+ yards was on the last play before halftime where he gained over 50 but was knocked out of bounds. He was 5-10ing us a bit, but that only lead to one FG and a couple fumbles. Interestingly enough, Sandusky's one TD came on a 45 yard pass.
Bellevue found some success on the ground tonight, with nice mix of Holmer, K. Ray (QB), C. Ray and Howey running it, with a few timely pass completions as well. Some long clock killing drives by both teams resulted in not many overall possessions in this game, and Bellevue having consecutive scoring drives due to the onside recovery was killer. Sandusky only had the ball once in the 4th, and punted with just under 7 mins left and Bellevue was able to run out the clock.
Here are Bellevue's 2nd half TD's:

And the excuse's begin. Have they been out the last four games? LOL Nice win BELLEVUE. Bellevue is young and they were in every game this year but one. Listened to it on the radio sound like Stewart kid had 95 percent of the touches. To easy to stop when your one dimensional like that. Can't win games that way.
