Since my Royals football season will end Friday and most likely end with a loss to Bucyrus. Wanted to get the basketball pre-season talk going. Wynford will have all their hoop players starting Nov 1st for the first time in a long time. This will definitely help them with a new coaching staff. I look for Wynford to surprise a few teams this season. Especially having one of the top players back in the league in Crall. The big question will be how many other players will elevate their game to help him.

Not sure how the other N10 teams have fared thus far in the pre-season. Haven’t heard much. Wynford has some injury issues. Caleb Rausch is out till most likely after Christmas with a foot injury from football. Josh Crall injured his foot in the team’s first scrimmage. Not sure of the type of foot injury. He is on crutches and heard he may miss the start of the season. Tough start with these injuries to key players for Coach Mohrs return to coaching.

Carey looked decent against Arlington on Saturday from what I was told. The Stone kids was dropping threes from top of the key on step backs. Mohawk played Elgin this week and won 6 of 8 quarters. Looked like they were still in football mode. Upper won all but one quarter at Western Reserve on Saturday. They traveled to Chillicothe and Adena last weekend but not sure on the out come there
Know Upper has the yearly scrimmage with Ontario and Fumpy Dumpys Huron on Friday of this week. I might have to take that one in.😎😎😎

Went to Upper to watch three-way scrimmage with Clyde Delphos St. John’s. Have a relative with a kiid that plays for St. John’s. Upper won all quarters vs Clyde. And won all but one vs St. John’s. An Upper parent said that the 1 pt loss vs St. John’s was Uppers first quarter they lost so far in their scrimmages. Upper looked solid. Scored 20+ in most of the quarters. Clyde has some decent size and play very physical. Good scrimmage by all three teams overall.
