U of M released a poster with pictures of 58 players in NFL uniforms and a list of their names. Saying they were players that Harbaugh coached into the NFL. After a little research by 11Warriors it was found that 14 fell into the following categories. (1) Undrafted Free Agents that never made an NFL roster. (2) Redshirt Freshman at Stanford, that never played a down, transferred and played 4 years for another school before being drafted. (3) Redshirt Freshman that didn't play a down for Stanford then Harbaugh left for the 49ers. (4)Only played in the CFL. (5) Invited to NFL camp, but never signed. (6) Four players who never played for Stanford or Michigan. So we're down from 58 to 44.
They even had a picture of Ryan Shazier with his #50 removed from his helmet, calling him Devon Carrington, who never made the Steeler's roster. Thus didn't have a picture in a Steeler's Uniform.
It get's worse. Athlon did an article on the Top 20 Colleges Coaches sending players to the NFL. #20 on the list was Clemson's Dabo Swinney with 28. Harbaugh didn't make the list.
Desperation has set in Up North. Something had to be done about the publicity from Ohio State's record NFL Draft and Urban's recruiting successes. So desperate that a HUGE misrepresentation was made. NOT good for a supposed top program.
ALSO, it's being discussed that U of M could be sued by the NFL for Trademark Infringement. Using pictures of NFL players in their NFL uniforms without the permission of the NFL.

Using the Michigan/Harbaugh theory, Urban should take credit for Cam Newton.

Distorting or changing the facts sound like desperation.

i was referring moreso to the NFL fiasco, i wouldn't expect a head coach to recognize recruits that's why you hire guys like Pantoni
no one thinks Harbaugh mailed the kid the letter thanking him for coming to the picnic

Hold the phone, something strange is going on in Harbaughland. Three of their prized recruits (Aubrey Coleman, Leonard Taylor & Jalil Irvin) decommit in a 24 hour period.
The college sports forums will be buzzing on this recent development and speculating if there may be more to come.
Multiple Choice:
A) The sleepover didn't go well.
B) Michigan ran out of jobs for parents and high school coaches.
C) He attended the BBQ and did not get a thank-you.
D) The kid wants to contend for more than September championships.
E) Harbaugh is just too weird.
F) All of the above

Satellite Recruits. Kids you recruited to your program who just happen to play in other states.

Meeshegan should cruise this year until it meets MSU and OSU. One ranking I saw had the 'rines the 12th easiest schedule in the Big this year, and another had them at the no. 78 easiest schedule in the country (only Minnesota in the Big was below them at 87). If the wolverines don't do it this season will be extremely surprised. BTW, that same national schedule ranking service (I agree, it's all arbitrary before the season) had the rest of the B1G schools schedule strength ranked nationally thusly: 6th, Wisky; 9th Nwestern; 12th OSU; 14th Ill; 18th MSU; 25 Notre Dame (I know, they aren't in the Big but they should be!); 33 Rutgers; 34 PSU; 40 Purdue; 65 Nebraska; 71 Iowa; 74 Indiana; 78 Meeshigan: 87 Minnesota.

It was fun reading MGOBLUE after the game. All the whining about Ohio State not playing anyone. Oklahoma not being any good. Colorado being better than Oklahoma. Some realist U OF M fans noting all of the young players Ohio State has and them being faster and more athletic than most of the U OF M players. Then a comeback saying, "ya, but when we get our 2 guys get back we can beat Ohio State."
Little did they know that Ohio State lost before the season, most likely their starting right tackle. Lost for the season their best D-tackle and heart and soul of their defense. They were playing without a stating outside LB. A starting WR was wearing a cast on his arm in the game. And their best Corner got hurt early in the 1st half and didn't return.
Young, fast, athletic AND deep. Even with only 6 starters returning. Not mentioning that it looks like Ohio State's 2017 recruiting class will be the highest rated class in NCAA history.
